Tomorrow marks the 9th year since a friend of mine Jeremy Cortez passed away. I knew him growing up through elementary-middle school. The significance of the matter is he passed away on my birthday October 31st... And second, I still remember the conversation we had in the Classroom building at the old San Marcos Highschool the afternoon on the day he left us. I still think about it. Rest in Peace old friend.
