The Erie paper in March was named as one of the

"10 Newspapers That Do It Right"

by Editor & Publisher, the nation's leading publication that covers the newspaper industry.

The Times-News was selected from more than 130 entries.

..........

Now journalists (both print and TV) are rated below used car salesmen, their biased rags are losing money, shrinking, laying off…

but they remain clueless.

They can’t even admit its partly their constant bias.

Sort of like “the good ole days of talk TV” when the “balanced round table” was 3-4 mouthy demo-socialists and one evil Republican/conservative smothered by verbal machine gun attacks limiting the guest to 10% to deny/correct the distractions, lies and smears.

Sort of like “The View” now.

This media/journalistic joke appeared as normal and fair to the mainstream TV media then and would also today.

They long for those days and wish Obama would make alternatives go away or “play fair”.

Remember you are as dumb as a rock and they are

brilliant highly-paid “journalists”..lol.

Pat Howard, first place for columns.

..........

Hey pat,do some columns on the public sector unions control over the City of Erie.

Pat,tell us where all the money goes.

Tell us why the city has to take out a 8.5 million dollar bond just to patch pot holes and the schools are being closed three at a time.

Tell us about the 30% poverty rate and how things are much better with a public sector union controlled city.

This guy thinks he is dan rather or walter winchell. Should go to work for the National Enquirer. Hey Eddie, isn't it about time you wrote another marjorie deal story? or another story attacking the catholic church? did you have some run it with a priest that makes you hate it?

the success of the ETN is all part of the erie network... the barber center and the in international center buys the ETN to line the cages of their clientele..the ETN writes fluffy articles about the afore said...now the erie club is making a pita shell out of the etn for lunches.. it's all Erie... nobody reads it but yet they buy it...

Do you believe in good luck? Well you should, because you're surrounded by it today. Grab every opportunity that comes along because you never know when you'll get another chance, especially if travel or education is involved. It's also a good day for having a modest gamble, provided that you can afford to lose your stake if your luck suddenly runs out.
