Point Hope Hunters Charged for Caribou Slaughter - KTVA

This is not an isolated incident. In the mid-70', thousands of caribou were similarly killed and abandoned out of Pt Hope and other western arctic villages, contributing to the great "mysterious" decline of the Western Arctic Caribou Herd of that time. I was there. I saw.

The concurrent extensive and intensive chasing of caribou while doing so also led to the simultaneous drop in reproductive rates (spontaneous abortion) from 25 calves per hundred cows to less than 5 per hundred cows. These weren't airplane non-local hunter doing thiss....

It doesn't matter whether white-eyes "headhunter" wastes a caribou (much less dozens hundreds, or thousands), or if it is a Yupik, an Inupiat, or a Martian - they all need to be caught as can be and held responsible.

I'm surprised at some of the names involved, but not at all surprised at the reaction of the good mayor, having known him as a teenager.

Sounds like the Environmentalists are at it again to me. This could be one of the classic attempts to create a situation that points the finger at the so called "Destructive,callous and wasteful Humans who Disregard The Rights of Animals and Nature,Mother Earth in general" which would give way to legislation these facsists love to push for restricting the hunters from their means of survival. The Eco-Facsists do take it upon themselves to orchestrate and manufacture conditions and events which fuel their stand against us (Humans) and this truly needs to be fully investigated with this perspective in mind.

The News media is exaggerating! Mark my words, one day in your life..... you will be innocent of a crime, the crime will be exaggerated and you will be begging for help to the "misunderstanding", then take your own words and see how you will feel when no one listens to your pleas and cries of exaggeration and lies. What goes around comes around!!!
I work at the city office for 6 years now and heard many rumors. But we do believe that some were left behind, but not as many as they claim!!! BY FAR!!!!
