Why would anyone want to exit I-40 to go down Bryan Street? There's not much down that street except the Country Club.. ooohhhhh....now I get it! yea.. and there's a lot of upscale homes along that way.... oooohhhhh..... Somebody must know somebody who has connections.. I'm thinkin..

Actually, the reason it is being "eyed" is because the growth of Shawnee is headed East. There are many commercial and residential developers who have purchased the land north and East of Bryan for this very reason. It has absolutely nothing to do with someone knowing someone with connections. It simply has to do with the growth of a town. 45th street will eventually become a 4-lane to allow for this growth, as well. We all have to adapt to this change.

The question is why? The answer to me would be to adjust the archaic set time for the traffic lights at the I-40 Harrison interchange. This solution would be a minimal waste of taxpayer money...
