Another person resorting to insults rather than disputing any of my statements. Not a single person has been able to debate my statements. Telling me to "go smoke weed" is the most intelligent reply I've received.

It's not that everyone is INCAPABLE of debating you... no one WANTS to.

Making silly statements, then finding no one is interested in taking the time to correct you doesn't make your statements any less silly.

That being said, this is not the Mort Downey show. You don't have to agree with me; but calling me "silly" or telling me to "go smoke weed" adds no value.

Orlando East, you're speaking my language! When I made it across the border, all I had could fit in a shopping cart. i felt like a success when I finally got a Walmart model. Now these Gringos want to take that away from me! We will REVOLT! Today, I cut your grass, tomorrow I sleep in your bed!

I don't normally post to these blogs, but in this case I was amazed by the plethora of ignorant comments. For example: do you really think charging a 25 cent deposit fee will deter people from stealing the carts?

The purpose of the 25 cent deposit is:

(1) to provide an incentive for shoppers to return the carts back to their station - i.e. reducing the amount of carts scattered around the parking lot; blowing in the wind; damaging cars, etc.

(2) to save the store money, i.e. reduce labor costs for retreiving the carts/returning them back to their proper stations.

A measly 25 cent deposit will not prevent or deter people from stealing the carts; that is why some stores are now investing in expensive electronic theft systems.

Another problem with the deposit system is that many upper class white people still do not bother to return the carts... i.e. their precious time is not worth 25 cents. This attracts low class "bums" who hang around the parking lot, waiting for stray carts, such that they return them and collect the 25 cents deposit. Often we go a step further and wait for white people to exit the store and offer to return the carts for them (such that we can collect the deposit). I used to make $80/day tax-free doing this in NJ. You would be amazed how quickly people accepted my services & would give up their cart deposit; especially if I started putting my grubby hands near their food.
