Ticked off! @ the stinking, smelly bus riders

One of the few things I have managed to learn after 30 some odd years in retail, is that the customer is right maybe 1% of the time. Kudos to the manager who stood up for his worker.

Please share with us the name of this carlot that did this to this poor dog. The economy is rough and anyone who is looking to buy a car might not want to give business to this type of heartless a-hole. Have you reported them to the police for animal cruelty? Thanks.

"•We don't need Northerners or snowbirds. You move to Clermont and come to Orlando and take our jobs. When the cuts come, we get cut because you carpool. Cheap, cheap. If you can afford a snowbird home in Clermont, you don't need the job like I do on my income."
get a life it ain't your job its the employers job. perhaps you didn't get it because you are an idiot. |

• More people are riding the buses these days. Some of the bus riders need to take baths more often, especially during hot summer months. That person may be you.*********only welfare recepients ride buses.

As a veteran of the food service industry, I've come to realize that most customers who invoke the "customer is always right" mantra are jerks who treat people like trash and expect to be "right." I don't care how old the kid who messed up was: Everyone makes mistakes, and just because they are serving you, it doesn't give you an excuse to abuse them.
If you were acting like a decent human being, you would be treated as such - no manager wants to offend good customers. Maybe you're the type of business they didn't value? Just something to think about. Also, I volunteer at an animal hospital that's been home to a dog named "Bear." If I get there this weekend and learn that this was the dog in this column, I'm going to be REALLY, REALLY upset. |

Aww, poor Bear. What a terrible person. Karma!!!

Poor puppy. After 50 years on this earth, I am still amazed at how heartless some people can be. Have fun on the Rainbow Bridge, Bear.

While I don't doubt this is true, the manager shouldn't 'go off' on a customer in the middle of his establishment. There are ways for handling things. |
its hard to say being that they didnt go into any details of the incident. it could be either the managers or customers fault.(or a little of both) too bad they didnt give more details. |

Here's confirmation about Stellios Billis from WFTV:

Did the Sentinel ever report this? The WFTV report is from July 2...Unfortunately I don't watch the TV news that much, I rely on the internet (i.e. Sentinel.com and Cnn.com )....I guess I'll have to start watch the local TV news from now on the get the REAL news. Did anyone picket the business?

RE:
•I am so thankful that there are courteous drivers who still use their turn signals. This way I know what they're thinking and can plan accordingly. I am also grateful to drivers who turn on their lights in inclement weather, which allows me to see them better and not cut them off or turn in front of them. AMEN! If complaining about the drivers that don't use these courtesy's then yes, lets applaud the very few which do drive properly! YAY you! |

Stinky bus riders? LOL. They should hose out and chlorox the insides of all those stinky busses as the end of every day. P. U.

We as a country may have to make a few changes on how we get around. Initially the behemoths that we drive will shrink in size. 10 hour work days and a 4 day work week will possibly be next in corporate America. In addition car pools will have to return and people will no longer drive 10 miles for a loaf a bread, they will plan their trips more efficiently. Traffic will lesson on the roads that are already maxed out. Additionally, as prices continue to increase our work days will lengthen as more people will choose buses and trains in a tight, I am sitting next to a moron that forgot to shower commute. Welcome to EUROPE. |

Damn that onion scented body spray that people are wearing now...

To the person who took Bear and put him with 3 agressive dogs; I cannot say in a public forum what I think of people like you. Sorry about your "shortcomings", if you know what I mean, that you feel the need to surround yourself with nasty animals; do they make you feel big and bad?
RE the stinky bus riders; I have a problem with that, too; especially since I'm very short and if I'm standing up on the bus, I'm about at armpit level with everyone else. A 90 degree plus day on a bus without air conditioning? Arrrrgh! |
