Poor woman. If she has children I hope they are safe. My condolences to her family. I wonder if an ex or boyfriend is involved? Doesn't seem like a random murder. If her body was left in the trunk of a car parked in a neighborhood that means that someone wanted her found. Someone who knew her well. Just my gut feeling. I hope the truth comes out.

yeah she has a 10 y old daughter who is with the grandmother now. she was my neighbor. been freaking out about it since it happened.

I knew her as well and was shocked and still am shocked that this happened. How someone could do this is beyond me. It sickens me to no end that no one thought of her, her family, her future. NOTHING is worth taking a life! My sympathy goes out to her family. Rest in peace Melissa.

I knew melissa very well, we were friends before she was pregnant, thats how long ive known her. i havent seen her in 2 years and i am shocked by the news. my thoughts go out to her mother and daughter.

Melissa was sweet and kind, very beautiful and it's very sad to think that her young life was taken by some cruel animal, girls, be careful whom you are dating...Say NO TO VIOLENCE!!! She will be remembered by many as a sweet wonderful angel. She was looking for love, and look what she found...Rest in peace, Melissa. I still don't believe it. It's horrible. I hope that her killer will be dead soon and will rot in hell.

I hear this is not the first murder for that guy. He maybe tied to another murder to someone I knew, he dated YEARS ago who has disappeard for about 10 years now. A so-called OD...ya rite...whatever...hope he rotts too.
