Just when you thought it was going to be the warmest year on record, we have the coldest one with the most snow.

Global warming scientists are now saying that this year will be cooler, but still among the warmest.

Science is different at Boreal.

Science is also different back east, the mid west, Idaho, etc. Those places are way below normal temperatures.

Yea, check out what's happening in China from Reuters. Coldest winter in 100 YEARS. How can that possibly fit in with the models?

If you guys are trying to debunk the theory of global warming with your rediculous observations then just give it a rest.We are talking about trends here not what the weather is like this morning or even this year.A global warming trend is for real and that is not a subject for any intelligent debate.Whether it is caused or influenced by man and CO2 emissions is what is debatable. Some people always want to lower the debate to the stupidest possible level.I woke up this morning and it was cold so global warming must be BS.Don't you have something better than that? Are you really that stupid?

You may have a point. Perhaps I should really be talking about serious climate changes, in China. Maybe global warming should be kept out of a debate on China. Climate being the averages of weather over a long period of time, that is, regionally, if need be.

Alternatively, I believe we are in a global warming trend, so I agree with you. What comes next needs to be determined, though.

Don't prejudge the situation, this is a global debate, and I recognize the fact that since this is indeed a global debate, lowering the debate to a local level, or regional one, at that, may really be stupid, as you say.

I've entertained that perspective before from folks who somehow believe that the globe is not made up of regions, but exists by itself, because the regions' climates and weather fluctuations have their own individual idiosyncracies, and cannot be comparable to the whole> like you said about waking up in the cold here locally, do you know what I mean?

However, it is my assertion that the globe, in fact, has got to be made up of regions, ALL the regions, and the averages from all these regions combine regionally to form the global average, for a day, a week, a month, a year, a decade, and for the last 100 years, to put it real simply.

How else could you possibly come up with the assertion that the global average temperature has increase .6 degree centigrade in the last 100 years? To do that calculation accurately I figured would take 16 trillion pieces of datum, if not more.

It used to take mainframes a long time to crunch those kind of numbers, but these days it must be different.

Have I clarified your last statements?
