Their sandwiches come without the baloney

Full story: The Morning Call

Rich Piotrowski is still serving up sub sandwiches, but his official Quiznos hat and the pressure of answering to a corporate franchise are gone like yesterday's tuna.

Is there a single Quiznos left in Valley? Seems like they've all closed, there used to be several of them.

Good for the Piotrowskis! I wish them the best. I've never liked Quiznos sandwiches, so this has to be an improvement.

Quiznos has always been overpriced as in lousy value for the money. Maybe the cost of anality is very high...

Despite all the flack they had to endure from the Quiznos people, it was a blessing in disguise as they got out of it and can now open a new chapter in their lives. Quiznos is not all it's cracked up to be and amazing that they stay in business.

Congratulations to the Piotrowskis.

Having to pay endless fees for promotion after promotion
is over.

Having to answer to corporate imbeciles is over.

Having to worry that the protected area you were promised when you signed your agreement is over.

I wish you the best of luck.

This is such exciting news! Definitely should be on the front page. Where else but the Morning Call can a story about a sandwich shop get such great billing (free advertising). Give us some real news.

Do they have a cart?

Just kidding!

See you guys soon, maybe one night this week we'll head on down and get some supper.

Quizino's? BITE ME.$19.97 for two burnt sandwichs, two small bags of chips and two fountain sodas was all you had to do to drive and keep us away.

I haven't eaten at a Quiznos since I read the last story about how Quiznos shafted this couple. Wishing them much success at this new venture!

Its getting harder and harder to find a really good sub shop. I like the subs made at the Heights Market in Beth Twshp. Their big, cheap and flavourful. These chains - subway, quiznos, -- I don't go there. Some things can't be franchised - or shouldn't be - especially subs and pizza.

Unless you like paying too much money for food someone probably spilled body fluids on.

I hate mystery shoppers. You have no way to prove or disprove what was asked for or if they asked for less because the corporation wants you out. I have dealt with mystery shoppers before and was almost fired, but I had a witness.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
