Great new restaurant in Kingston! A much needed shot in the arm for a community that has had nothing but negative press for the last several months. We cannot change what has happened but we can sit on the deck, eat, listen to music and enjoy the beautiful view and forget about life for awhile. Hey that sounds like the words to a song!

The venue is outstanding, the food delicious and the hospitality truly in keeping with our southern heritage! Don't miss out on this jewel!

I am all for a new restaurant in town, but the
parking in the back street needs to be addressed. It is a hazard when there are cars parked IN the street and around the helipad. Also when cars pull out from behind the block building onto the backstreet they just have to "go for it" because they cant see and if you are coming that way you have to be extra careful to watch for people trying to get out. Last night the helipad was almost impassible, anyone that needed to be flown out would have just been in trouble. I have heard nothing but good things about the restaurant itself, but the parking is giving it a bad name around town.

Yes, "Redbones On The River" does serve mixed drinks. To those of you that are wondering. I think the drink prices are very reasonable. I have read many negitvie comments about the new establishment, but keep in mind that it is just opening. Give Redbones some time. If you did have a bad expirence, go back and try it again. The time you went might of been bad because they were busy? Who knows. But don't give up on Redbones just yet. Give it time. I expect your expirence will be much better next time.

only good things? that is odd; no offense to them and I hope thay are successful but I have not heard one positive comment from anyone since they opened, other than the flat-iron steak was good. We desperately need a good restaurant here in Kingston. Finally, we have a grocery store where u can buy artichoke hearts and a furniture store where you can get tasteful home decor(Empire Furniture--those are nice people and have great items at amazing prices!) so a nice restaurant is the next logical step. I wish the Giles family nothing but luck.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Scorpio

Self-worship is easy and obvious, today. The real prize is when you turn from the mirror to see that others think just as highly of you. Take in all this love and amazement, and store some away for lean times in the future. Someone may give you an unexpected compliment later in the day, but don't let them know that it caught you off guard. After all, you still have your reputation as an egomaniac to uphold!
