I can't give you any official info on the hospital, but I can tell you more than a couple of stories about its contents and hauntings. Literally, it is the scariest/freakiest place I have ever seen or been to. If interested don't hesitate on getting back to me, I am very familiar with it.

Anyone know the result of the Oct 2 vote in Hanson on demolishing the hospital? If it passed, I definitely want to make sure I get to see it soon, so I'm not too late like I was with the Danvers one...

Thanks!

In response to arntzville, I don't know any decision about demolishing the hospital, but I hope it does'nt happen. I was a candy striper there when I was about 15. That building is a historical landmark and should not be destroyed. I hope it dose'nt happen. If anything it should be made into housing like they were talking about or it should be cleaned up and made into a tourist attraction.

The town voted to demolish the burned-out part of the building. Yeah, what a great place for tourists, lead paint, asbestos, broken glass, graffiti, rats, skunks, bats racoons. just where I want to go on vacation!

yea this place is most deff the scariest place i've been or seen. me and a couple of my buddies went around 6:00 pm one night and it was creepy from the momment i started walking on the path. i brought a video camra to record what ever was haunting the place. we all no that you can't see ghosts and all the bullsh*T movies make the seem like. but this place.....? wow the feeling in my stomach, my throat, the tingles down my back, and chills down my neck.....weird!!! there is deff a presance there that does not want poeple there!!!
i had a full battery on my v/cam and after 15 20 mins of recording all around, we got to the basement where the morge thing thing was... when i went to record it my camra shut off completely. i was like how full battery, when i turned it back on it blinks LOW BATT< LOW BATT the shut off again...why? its spooky, scary and everything people say it is!!! if u wanna gooo be SAFE!!!

How is the accessibility? Locked doors, asbestos, etc?

It is accessible, but it is pretty well patrolled, there have been a string of recent fires. Expect to be arrested if you're caught.

Me and my friends are trying to organize a little day trip to a few abandoned buildings in the area but I'm having a bit of trouble finding out where this place actually is...I know that it is in the Plymouth/Hanson area, but I have been looking for a location for a while and I'm having no luck whatsoever finding anything. I've seen a ton of pictures and I'm dying to go! And if anyone has any other recommendations for abandoned places in the general southern Massachusetts area, that would be great.

hi, she is still standing, i was down there last week around the 24th of march. i have to say, i didn't feel that eerie presence. what i felt like was all the ghosts / spirits had left. i fired off 45 rounds of film, nothing at all. must of been a bad day. i have photos of them standing right behind my car, orbs and spirits. but the hospital is still there and standing her ground.
the over growth will get her, before the wrecking ball will.

I've been to this place recently and I would definitely say that its not the most exciting place to go....however, it doesn't disappoint as far as abandoned property goes. There are some creepy vibes from there, most definitely. Me and my friends were there at dusk and we noticed cops driving past the entrance a lot. There is a lot of broken glass and the clay roof tiles have been falling off so those also litter the ground...its a shame because its covered with graffiti, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were homeless there at one time. Wear a pair of close-toe shoes, there's debris everywhere....its right off a main road, I would give it if I coukd remember it, but me and my friends did a little online research and it was on a blogger website.....another reason I'm writing is that I was wondering if there are any other abandoned asylums other than this one and taunton state? Thanks and good luck at plymouth county!

Oh I just remembered its High Street in Hanson, really easy to find right off of the main road...I would recommend going at dusk or before because the cops are all over the place at night.

I'm sorry i keep posting but if u don't want your car to be parked in the driveway (keep the cops less suspicious), there is a road right before the entrance named Pierce Rd. Drive down there a bit and there is a path that is "blocked" by a log....you can park your cars at that entrance, soooo much better than driving down the long driveway and risking you getting caught

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Taurus

It's no good - the prospect of visiting the post-Christmas sales has become too tempting for you to resist any longer. No matter what you're doing today, you'll try to squeeze in the opportunity to dash around some of your favourite shops and see what's on offer. You could snap up some bargains but you should guard against the urge to splurge on items that you don't really want or need. The price of something may have been slashed but the acid test is whether you'd still buy it if it were full price. If not, leave it in the shop!
