Why haven't the autohrities shut down this porno place yet? We do have obscenity laws here, you know? How could a cesspool like this even be allowed to open to begin with? Some others tried to open in Lynn Garden but were quickly dealt with and closed!

I love intimate treasures. how do you know what is in there? if it bothers you, don't go. You shouldnt care what other people do in their bedroom. if someone wants to watch porn, that's their business. if they want to use sex toys or wear lingerie then that's their business too. if you don't like it, just don't go! teach yours not to go. stop trying to take things away from people you dont even know and people who dont bother you! live and let live.

i love the store myself me and my wife have gone to it many times they have lots of thing to enhance your relationship. its prudes like you that are causing most of the problems in the world. i bet you have never even had an orgasm.
life is not all about being locked up and hiding from what feels good. lots of people go to this store because they can find something that gives them pleasure. in my mind i would rather someone go to this store than a gun store. i also think its sad that we dont have more of these stores in our area. sexually pleasure is not a crime and if it make someone feel better then it's great. every-time i have been in the store i see couples or a guy buying something for his wife or a lady buying something to help her husband out in the bed. maybe you should go in there some time and see what they are all about. it's not a whore house. you cant go into this store and ask for a b@#$job. if you dont like it just dont go to it

I would not be too proud of your wife going there--sheesh, guess morals and classiness not important to you.

What is immoral about a married adult going to Intimate Treasures to buy an item(s) to use/share with his or her spouse in the privacy of their home?

SaltShaker, morals and classiness is something that YOU are obviously lacking by reading all your silly, prudish, repressive, and petty posts that judge and bash others constantly.

You are probably so inhibited and miserable that you don't want anyone else to have any pleasure either, but you are probably in DENIAL about how healthy your sex life is--if you even have one-- and disagree.

Your idea of class and morality is skewed. I don't think the majority of people consider Intimate Treasures immoral or un-classy at all.
I sure don't, and I've asked around and no one I know sees a problem with it either. You must be in a religious cult of fundamentalist Christians. Are you Pentacostal? Whatever your sexually repressed situation is, you are in the minority thank goodness. No matter how much you spread your propaganda--it won't work on intelligent people.

why would i be ashamed. we have a very intimate relationship and both of use enjoy it. i personally like it when she has an orgasm. i am a man and can have one anytime but for a female it is harder to orgasm and if toys make it easier for her to have one then thats okay. when you are married sex is more about pleasure than anything else. you sound like someone that has never had that pleasure. i am sorry for that but good sex with the one you love is nothing to be ashamed of. have you ever had one orgasm or more than one at a time it's great. pleasure is not illegal and should be embraced by more people. ask some of your friends if they like sex or have even had an orgasm. there is nothing wrong with it. i myself think that peoples personal hang ups on sex and intimacy cause alot of the problems in the world. look at the counties where the women must have a mask on their face and those are also the same countries that are the cause of most problems in the world. i love the female body and think it is beautiful in al of it's shapes and size's. sexual liberation is the key to freedom and i will defend any female that thinks the same. if you hate this store and what it stands for then your man is not doing his job and probably only care's if he gets off and not the fact that you should to. i guess i am one of the few guy's that think sex is not fun unless your women gets off to. what fun is sex if it's a one-way highway.

why would this place bother anyone if they do not want to go inside? i do not frequent the place but it does not bother me one bit if others like it. just because a married couple decide to purchase supplies there does not make them immoral. sounds to me like this is more of a case of a busybody with too much time of their hands.

YOU are the one in denial--we have OBSCENITY LAWS HERE!! How do you think the "adult" (A PC word for PORONGRAPHIC) businesses in Lynn Garden were shut down?? Enforcement of obscenity laws, that's how! If you want your smut, then take it somewhere else--we not want it here!

Don't people have the right to read what they want? Or see the type of movies they want or listen to the music they want? If I don;t like something, i don't read it or listen to it. Even things i do not agree with, i think have a right to be seen or read or heard. If you don't like Intiamte Treasures, then don;t go there--you have that right. But others have the right to go there if they choose.

Intimate Treasures gets a lot of business! You're in the minority on this!

Intimate Treasures breaks no obscenity laws. Look up the laws and check out that store and you will see for yourself that the store is breaking no obscenity laws! You're definition of obscenity is obviously anything that offends YOU, but that's not the legal definition of obscene.

The store has been there for a pretty long time. It's not like it just popped up recently. Get over it!

Salt....it sounds like what you need is a good old fashioned F**KING!! You need someone to tie you up and dominate you.You need someone to bend you over and spank you for being bad. You need someone to tease and torment you until you can't stand it anymore and are begging for the release of a powerful orgasm. You need someone to show you how much FUN sex can be.

The legal definition of obscene is what is sold at Intimate Treasures. ANd if it is NOT, the WHY is such material NOT available in Coeburn? Why was the old X-rated drive-in shut down? Maybe becasue they were OBSCENE and Coeburn would not allow them?

Okay, talk to your local officials about obscenity laws and you'll see. I don't have the time or desire to explain to you...but I will say this much...Intimate Treasures has been around for a long time and is breaking no laws.

It gets decent to good business and there have been no formal complaints about its existence all this time. Do you want to be a petty first? Save your breath!

Oh, and I don't live in Coeburn. But an x-rated drive-in is VERY different than a store that is 18 and over only. Look into the laws! Anyway, most places like that are run-off by low sales, protests, and harrassment, not LAWS.

My IP location is not where I live. I think that's just where my internet service provider is located. That's how your location pops up automatically without you doing anything.

I say you need to go to Vegas for a day and then you'll think we are tame and thank your lucky stars there's not more "obscene" around here.

Intimate Treasures IS breaking laws---just like the couple of porn places that opened in Lynn Garden and were promptly shut down. Why is an X-rated drive any different...it had an 18 year old age limit!

Contact your local police then, you big crusader!
Or talk to the mayor or some city representatives.
No one on here cares about your conservative hogwash.

I wonder what your beef is...someone probably bought you a big shiny dildo hoping that you would use it and stop being such a stick in the mud and that's pissed you off. Maybe you found out your husband likes to go browse there and wants to try something new and you're pissed off because that means less time for you to complain about petty crap. Perhaps a child asked you what that store was and you were too stupid to come up with a decent answer so that made you mad...who knows...

Are you really that threatened by sexuality and romance? If so, that's sad.

You know, you could be making food for the hungry, cleaning up the environment, raising money to find cures for diseases...important things...maybe you could just spend more time with your own family, clean your house, volunteer...but NO, you are spending your time and energy complaining about one adult store on Topix. Way to make a difference in the world!

Prude don't go there if you don't like it. This is America where people have died so I can go buy a vibrator. Get over it already or maybe go get the Rabbit and your outlook might change. Or is that the problem you have to be 18 or older to go, the customers too old for you?

SaltShaker, please address my initial question for you:

What is immoral about a married adult going to Intimate Treasures to buy an item(s) to use/share with his or her spouse in the privacy of their home?

Feel free to quote any relevant Scripture.
