Don't be like that just because we are a very giving church does not mean that our leader is there for the money.I'm sure that our pastor uses only the bare minimum of the offering necessary to live a very frugal lifestyle. Everybody don't need to know about how the money is spent.

I was told there was an ATM in the lobby, I attend a Catholic Church and the thought of an ATM in a church is absurd!!! I thought he was making a joke about how much the church collects. After reading these posts, I wondered if it was true.... So is it?

His car isnt frugal, his large ring isnt frugal, his suits arent frugal nor are his shoes. his demeanor isnt humble & his church invoices those who didnt drop enough money into his coffiers. the word is ..opulence the qualifier is ... profuse

No Higher Ground does NOT have a ATM and they have a wonderful preacher whom speaks the word right out of the bible. Second if you work or do anything with children at higher ground you have to have a back ground check.. Higher Ground is a wonderful church!:)

If everybody would worry about the log in there own eye then you wouldn't be worried about the toothpick in everybody else's eye! I have to much to work on in my own life to worry about gossip from other people. I stumbled on this site and I am amazed on how much time people have to post crap on here! Get a life!

There are so many stories floating around about HG and the pastor and I just wonder how many are true. It's kind if funny though, a while back he held up an ad of JCPenney ans declared he would never shop there again because of what they support. Let's count how many homosexuals attend Higher Ground Baptist...I know of 4 single gay men and 2 married gay men that put money in the offering plate every Sunday. So tired of hypocrisy.

There is and never was a god. Period. Earth and man weren't made by a bearded man who floats in the sky. I cannot believe how people repeat this crap like they were there the stories are ridiculous and so far fetched. Does anyone know what Mensa is? Read about the lack of belief in god from its members. This area is full of uneducated people, thus we are among the most religious. Duh bible belt hillbillies quote scripture constantly like they were there! Bible is fiction sorry everybody it's all about money. Please WAKE UP!
