Belmont does a fine job on their FB page but I would warn you be careful with who has the password and access to make posts. This is the reputation of the City and you have to keep that in mind when using social media for gov't purposes.

Adrian Miller controls the page and does a good job - no worries. Anything inappropriate can easily be deleted. We don't need the council knee-jerking and trying control access and information. This page is a good thing.

It is a good thing and I seriously doubt the council members even use fb. Just saying that it's a big responsibility, that's all. Adrain is doing a good job.

If these towns did a better job and managing and updating their websites the fb pages wouldn't be necessary.
