If ODOT has money to repair roads they should do some work on SE Bryant between 89th and 104th in Okc. That road is one big pot hole for miles!

This is absolutely ridiculous. If they would save the money and build a CONCRETE highway to begin with, there would be no preventative maintenance needed! How about we invest in our roads and build 50 year roads instead of laying continuous patchwork 10 year roads (asphalt)?

Texas has this figured out - one of many reasons people move down there.

Rhonda, you mention Bryant well you should try driving from Choctaw Road to Douglass on SE 149th! Cleveland County road crews screwed that up years ago and it has taken a major toll on my vehicles. Front ends on a truck and SUV wiped out due to the unnecessary roughness!

149th is awful!! It's also bad between Peebly and Harrah Rd. Heck, part of it is just missing! But I agree with ya, especially around Anderson Rd.

So I am curious to know what magically will happen to the road that has already had the microresurfacing application applied to it, that will make the bumps smooth out? The answer is nothing! the project is not complete yet, because they still have road to resurface and restripe. The state is not going to be going back and doing anything to the surfaces they have just applied the new asphalt to. Citizens are most likely going to have to live with their newly inherited bumps!

Why work on a road that needed no repair at the time sounds like 2.3 mil or whatever is just a small chunk o change well thats our money and when you hit a rough place in the road and then have 500.00 worth of work done that road needs repaired. And I've complained for years about 1-35 S. bound bridge crossing, their bad and guess what they were redone in the past year or so and there as bad as they were to begin with, somebody deeds to do something about the wasting of money and worthless work thats being done, somebody needs to be overlooking whats going on all over the state, somebodys not doing their job right!!!!!!!!!!

I actually agreed with the response the hwy dept gave.. I drive that Hwy daily and while right now it does feel a little wavy ,I am very familiar with asphalt paving, and it will level out. Yes we do have many roads I drive that could use help.. the fact does remain that resurfacing this one will save lots of money down the road..

The roads in this state are a disgrace. They will never be better because they patch the patches!

I'm wandering who should be respondible for all of the rock chips the road is causing to my vehicle, and also I'm glad I don't ride a motorcycle due to the fact that even if you are an experienced rider it has to be hard to ride with all of the new ruts that are in the road.

people,people,people--as a NCCER certified heavy equipment operator, I can tell you that asphalt, no matter how thick you make it "never stops moving". thats why we have the rough roads. It's cheaper than concrete but will not last. ODOT should know this.
