i am sad to see that so many people i have grown up with and around in king city have ended up so far gone on meth. They dont care about themselves or their kids enough to quit. Look at Jody Elzey all tweaked out and ran over Mike Garcia. Iknow some will care less because these guys have both had criminal histories, but they have families who have to live with the constant heartbreak of having a druggie in their lives. They have children....this is a sad set of circumstances. When will meth let go of King City? Ever?

Ive read that its not dope, or that it was his wifes fault for cheating,,,BULLSHIT! its not ok to kill soomeone because you messed up your relationship,,,it not ok even if you are an innocent victim of heartless people. If he was not warped from years of drug use (even with a couple of bouts of clean) he probably wouldnt have parked his car on someone. he was high when they arrested him,,,it leads to bad decisions. and
the very fact that this story wasn't on the front page shows a clear example of why meth has such a stranglehold on King City. Teach your children well people.... |

well,apparently parking your car on top of someone warrants as much attention in the Rustler as the republican womens fashion show...my grandparents who have lived in KC for 50 years are disgusted that this story didn't make front page....its not sensationalism, for king city it is a big deal, it encompasses a lot of KC's problems,,,violence, drugs, and alcohol!

The reason why the story wasn't on the fornt page of the KC Rustler is because...LZ ran over Mike, Monday night. The paper goes to the print press on Tuesday. If KCPD isn't on the ball getting the news release, then it's hard for the hard working crew at the paper to get front page placement.

what jody did was a horrible thing,what kind of person could do such a thing.Even if you hate somebody why would you do such a thing.And obviously he's got the best lawyer anyone could ever get.I just hope that he doesn't pull some insanity shit and gets less time because honestly no one should get away with something like that.And in reality even though he was on drugs he knew at he was doing and thats exactly why he did it.He probley even had that planned out.
