They are Starving the Inmates.

I guess they do not think being locked up is enough in Sulphur Jail, and starving there inmates is more punishment.

Some one will I am sure stop this act, and put the person ordering the menu in Jail soon.

There are laws against this too.

tell them to stay home not jail and they can eat what they want pants on the ground gold in there mouth hat to the side

Possibly if Sulphur has a new mayor elected, the jail food may get worse

I think they can buy from the commisary. ramam soup is one dollar. a bic lighter is 3 bucks. candy bars are 2 bucks. Jails make money off of starvation or some of them do. There are people who spend their bail money just to eat.

And to all those creeps who say "don't go to jail in the first place". Just hope your not in the wrong place at the wrong time and get arrested just because your there not because you have commited a crime.

Or someone has stolen your Identity. You need to think before making stupid comments like "stay home and eat what you want". YOu creep me out !

This thing about food is illegal especially if you come across an inmate with diabetes, high blood pressure,allergies to particular foods, things of that nature. Does an inmate have accessto their attorney or their appointed attorney on a seemingly regular basis, or just on court days?. That would definitely be a good question to ask one.

Sulphur jail is not only starving their inmates its illegally ignoring them..a friend of mine just buried her twins, she's going through a big depression. She got arrested & jailed on misdemeaner charges. She had a nervous breakdown & tried to slit her wrists. They brought her to the hospital but instead of following protocol & sending her to memorial for mental help they brought her back to jail & placed a felony charge of self-mutilation on her,$25,000 bond! That's because of spiteful jailers like LESLIE, who, on the night this occured, had just got off of suspension for not making her jail rounds & flirting with male trustees instead...so why did leslie slam a unnecessary felony on a mentally unstable woman who hurt no one but herself, instead of getting her to memorial where she could get real help? Because the bitch wasn't making her rounds & if my friend would have died on her shift she would have been fired, she did it out of pure hatefullness & spite...shame on u leslie, & on your mother for raising a monster.

Tifi: no there is no nurse @ jail,, I sat for 3 months with no lawyer & never brought outside for fresh air, they will let ppl rot n sulphur..

People make choices in life. Some choose poorly over and over again and go to jail over and over again. If jail were as bad as they say they would do what 95% of the rest of society does and stay out. You're whining about staying in a place that law abiding citizens are having to foot the bill for. First you take from tax payers in committing your crimes then you take from them in having to house and feed your sorry asses and you still complain. Dont like it? Then do what you're supposed to. Obeying the law really isnt that hard. I've done it all my life.
