Kenny Edmonds has our support! He is the only one bold enough to actually stop taking kick backs from everyone while our county continues to go to the dogs. He will be a dog catcher so to speak - look at all the meth and old back 40 attitude these rednecks in this town have. Making up lies to defame him is not going to detour voters. Just gives us all more fuel to get out there and let the public meet him and find out who he really is. He is not weak, jaded or corrupt like Russell and Dalton - FOR SURE!!

Kenny Edmonds has my vote and probably most every vote from every VETERAN that can get to the polls. While some were reading gibberish online and making accusations the rest of us were meeting a man that is INDEED a TRUE AMERICAN HERO!!! How dare you talk about his family or his service. What has Jimmy Russell ever done for this county except turn the other cheek while meth labs were popping up in his OWN back yard and looking the other way (Ever see Winters Bone?- Academy Award nominated movie about the seriousness of METH in our county - their film crews found the meth why didnt Jimmy Russell? Then Steve Dalton - are you kidding me - that guy married a hooker he busted when he was undercover - look deep down in his employment jacket and find out how they handled him stealing evidence more than once - that evidense was DRUGS PEOPLE!!! Go Kenny do what you can and we will help any way we can!! Kenny Edmonds will be our next Sheriff if this County that knows the truth gets out and VOTES!

Roberttheman2012 you have it right! I was born in 1925 and Proudly served in WWII. My son Bravely served in Vietnam and my Grandson served in SW Asia. There are many radicals out there that feel they can say whatever they want about our servicemen and their families. The irony of this is if it wasnt for all of us VETS protecting your right to be an American and the Right of Free Speech you would have no outlet for your sorry A**es! With that said I too have lived in Taney County for many many years. The residents have been living in fear of this current Sheriff. Notice in 12 yrs of service only one guy ran against him and if he would have advertised himself better we would have all voted him in just to get Russell out. Steve Dalton has been chastised and reprimanded several times in his career (part of the reason he NEVER BECAME CHIEF)! Dalton has bailed his kid out of more problems than I can even begin to tell you about - with no appreciation for the law! So dont tell me Kenny Edmonds wouldnt be a good Sheriff! It is HIGH TIME someone with his tenacity and guts ran for this office and help run these jokers right out of town!

I am tired of being in fear of the Deputies and the Sheriff. If you live near a meth house or know people are making it they never even come and check. If you live in certain parts of the county you can just forget them coming for any reason. There is no follow up when it comes to notifying the Sheriff of crime that is ongoing and happening. I dont know who this Dayton guy is but from the looks of his photo in the paper looks like he should be looking for an old folks home instead of a Sheriffs office. Edmonds has said he will be accessible and listen and I believe in that! Those are the kind of people I want in the offices of my town.

So who is the Sheriff taking kick-backs from? Lets get to the bottom of the CORRUPTION you no namers keep talking about. If the Sheriff is so corrupt who is paying him off? Come on Kenny we know you are the True Resident. You are not a cop and never have been and have never managed a budget execpt your own which is a disaster according to case.net . Please explain how Russell is corrupt and who he takes kick backs from? Come on give us some evidence you are accusing our sheriff of being corrupt.

We are all waiting for Kenny to answer the one question. Have you ever been arrested for Spousal abuse? He wants to ask all of the questions we are just asking this one little question. How is this guy qualified to be sheriff when he is not nor ever been a police officer?? come on Kenny you need to have cop experience to be the top cop.

The only "lie" that he hasnt given some BS answer to is the question "HAVE YOU (KENNY EDMONDS) EVER BEEN ARRESTED IN MISSOURI OR ANY OTHER STATE IN THE UNION FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR ANY OTHER CHARGE?" If you, True Resident support Edmonds like you do, have him respond. Have him call the paper at 3am and he blame his friends, wife, air force or anyone else he would like to blame. BUT....the proof is in the booking photos my friend! Ask him yourself chief, let me know what his answer is. If he owns up to it, then the PEOPLE of TANEY COUNTY need to know the whole story(stories) about the arrest(s) If he says no. Then stand by for the photo. Have a wonderlicous day

Edmonds says he will be accessible??? WHAT A JOKE. he deletes his comments on his facebook page, he has denied access to RESIDENTS of the county he wants to serve acess to his facebook page. He has lied about military service(of which I am a Marine Corps veteran) lied about the medals he earned. and that other supposed WWII vet that posted eariler should be ashamed of Edmonds for doing that, especially he claimed a WWII medal. He's been arrested for domestic assault, why doesnt he give the residents access to those records? he talks a halfway decent game, but he doesnt do any fact checks before shooting from the hip. Tell him (or since you are his mommy you can do it) open the facebook page for EVERYONE to comment and ask questions that he will answer truthfully and not delete items he doesnt like.

We are working on the freedom of information request right now to the sheriff's dept for his booking sheet and Photo. It doesnt look like he will answer the question without being forced with the Photo.

I live and work in Taney County. I was really hoping that one of Edmonds followers would catch that Wichita KS thing. It has to do with the server. See today I am at work, when I posted that yesterday I was at home. So, before checking facts or ASKING the right questions as your hopeful canidate does, you ASSUME when you are told or see to be the facts. AND, just like Edmonds, they are wrong.
