Is it true CMBC pastor was arrested for soliciting a prostitute? OMG

I have heard a lot, I'm just hoping that its not true. I like this guy so much he is a good guy and a good preacher.

Yes it is KR and I really hate it also! Heard that he told people in his church Sunday and they voted to keep him there!

County or city?? I have a hard time believing this. Can it be proven that he was arrested?

yelp, it was in princeton at a car wash and he spent the night in jail as well!!

Princeton PD got him in a undercover sting operation, and he was arrested and spent the night in jail. I heard that the church still voted to keep him. I dont know if I could continue to go to church there now that I know this, or let by child attend Bible School there............What a set back for the church

WAY! yea he did and they voted to keep him as pastor. he said he was set up... yes he was it's called a STING OPERATION for soliciting prostitutes... haha

Of course it was a sting operation and if he wasnt trying to get the prositute then he would have not been arrested! Watch Dateline they do under covers all the time! Always heard he was a sneakin Deacon! I just wonder what Ann thinks of all of this, they dont arrest you for things like this unless they have a case against you, if he was preacher trying to help get a prositute off the street then he would not have got arrested!!!

I couldnt agree with you any more! but this is not the only time he's been caught, he had a girlfriend in mcdowell county yrs ago so this isnt his first rodeo... lmao

Is this the same preacher that preached a few weeks ago? He belittled his congregation for going to a local Mexico restaurant. I think he may have said something about their christian lifestyle.

This is really funny! That's where alot of there church members stay is at the Mexican Resturant! Most sit up there and drink drink drink and don't care who sees them then goes to church on Sunday thinking they done nothing wrong!!! Most people who goes there need to step back and take a look at there lives if they think they are living for the lord! I won't be sending my two kids there next week for bible school after I have SEEN and HEARD this past year what members have been doing!

We are all human & subject to human mistakes. My prayers go out to him. If he had been a regular Jo it would be laughed off as a good ol boy having a good time. If this is true, He has made a terrible mistake but we serve a loving God who can forgive sins if we ask with a contrite heart. none of us is perfect. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. God be with him & his family.

yea he made a big mistake but he is suppose to be a role model for that church and this community so i personally think he should admit his wrong but i also think he should do the RIGHT thing and step down from being pastor! He is suppose to be a leader and that is NOT what I want my family to be ANY part of. yes he's human and we all make mistake but you must own up to them i believe the reason he wont is because he quit his job to be a full time pastor and would have no means of his income anymore if he told the complete truth! and that i think is really sad, yea it is between him and god but he WILL be the one to answer to the lord above for his wrongs as will we all. If I was in his shoes I would step down on my own and not put my church or family through anymore humiliation! simple as that.
