It's about time someone stepped up to the plate. I think they will do a good business, I will go there instead of Walmart for food.

This is GREAT! WalMart is about to drive me insane and their meat is terrible. I also will go there for my groceries. I can't wait!

Any idea of the prices? Lots of independant grocercy stores are forced to mark up products to make ends meet. But Im sure having decent meat will be worth it.

If it is anything like the prices of thier picayune store, claiborne hill, the prices are much lower than wal-mart or winndixie. Perishable items were always cheap and fresh as they actually buy local produce from the picayune area small farmers.I am looking forward to spending my money with someone else.

Don't get me wrong, I like having Wal-Mart here for most stuff but a little competition is good no matter what?
A dedicated grocery store will be great!

Does anyone know the current status of the grocery coming to the Bay, i.e. is it really Claiborne Hill, where are they going to reside, and approximately what date are they planning to open?

Heard that Claiborne deal is dead. Nada going on at the proposed store - no roof for instance.
Heard a rumor that Bay St. Louis Mayor is talking to a grocer for Old Town site. Has anyone else heard anything new?

Daily Horoscope for December 2

Cancer

The Gemini Full Moon triggers your twelfth house of subconscious matters, Cancer. Dreams you have during this time reveal much about your psychological state. If you have been under a great deal of pressure in your work or with health concerns lately, it's time to go on a spiritual retreat. If a vacation isn't feasible, consider turning off the television for a few days and enjoy the silence.
