Mr. Boudin is the only councilman that at least raises questions where the rest seem to just go with the flow. I just wish Mr. Boudin would follow through with his questions and concerns, and not give up so quickly and vote along with the rest.

Please run Mr Lonnie! You are much more involved than Boudin. He is always negative and just wants to see the sour side of everything. I know that you would look at everything and do what is right for the annexed area.

Yes. BUT, in the end, he VOTES with his buddies on the council. I'd like someone who actually votes for his or her ward, wouldn't you? The votes are ALWAYS 7-0 or 0-7. They can't think independently, and need to GO. Lonnie should run for his seat.

Its about time that someone without a personal or political agenda represent our ward. Boudin Falgout and moore have shown me only that they act when it benefits them. its about time someone work WITH the BSL city AND our residents here to do whats best for us, NOT whats best for them. I have been to many council meetings and the work shop the night before. Boudin used to refuse to go to the work shop. And he always is in the middle of any negative thing that goes on and the latest was the atack on the chamber that FINALLY got J.R. of the Echo fired. Why does he feel that this is the way to represent US???? Lonnie goes and stirs up crap with his friends plus does it out on the street. I hear for myself what REALLY goes on in the meetings many times and its NOT what these guys come up with in public. It is a shame. I dont care who you like or dont like, this is about US that pay yall salary.period. People should be in public office to HELP not ignore our problems only to see what they can gain. Just my opinion but I hope someone else throws there hat in the ring next time.

I think JR might have been encouraged to retire since Ponder's son needs/wants the job. Watch the next few weeks for another Pondar on staff.

I hope ur not rite. Its been a refreshing change to have a few editions of the echo without slanderous, libleous, slanted story telling. Dewayne and Jeff do a decent job of trying to report facts, not fiction and slander. Good riddance JR!!!

If you folks put all of your energy into making the city a better place rather than gossiping, then things might actually get better!

I have a very good friend who works at the Echo. My friend told me JR decided to retire and start doing some traveling with his family.I mentioned that the GOSSIP was that he was fired. I was told this was definitly not true. This was JR decision.

Oh, I think we should start a blog about everyone who works for the city or is related to someone who works for the city. Then we could trash talk about everyone, tear them and their families down, spread vicious rumors, half-truths and lies and make us all feel real warm and fuzzy just knowing how we're making the world a better place sitting behind our anonymous little names trashing everyone we can think of. Hey, if we do that, we won't miss JR for even a second! Sounds like a plan! So who's next??? Hey, how bout we start with anyone who is a secretary to one of the city department directors?? THey'd be a good target, or maybe we could drum up a blog about a secretary's kid or maybe their mom or dad (IF they are still alive, but if they've passed on, they wouldn't know we were blogging about them so it wouldn't be any fun). I agree. It appears if you are an elected official or city enployee, your targeted. What a shame.Joey would not give a free portalet to someone so now he needs to be replace as counciman. That is the mentality of some on here. Its the same few who go back and forth on different blogs changing their names and just being vendictive.
