The State-run media is trying to whitewash this man and his violent religion. This guy is a piece of crap and I hope he is given a just and swift courtmartial. If he was so torn between country and religion why the hell would he join the armed forces.

The were many hundreds of thousands of Italian Americans (as well as German Americans) who fought in Europe during WWII. Many of which went to battle against the Axis knowing full well they could harm or be harmed by a relative still living in Europe whom they were fighting against in Italy and Germany.

There is no place for liberalism or political correctness in the armed services. As we see it can cost many good people their lives.

I don't know you from Adam, how could I or why would I call you anything? You have your right to an opinion like any other person in this country. Just like you don't know me either. I've been pre-programmed? No, I guess you can call it my family history. You see my dad was one of those Italian American WWII soldiers who fought in Italy, knowing what could be the consequences. To me, he and many others in the Armed Services showed the ultimate in sacrifice to their country. Through him I learned the true meaning of love for my country not from a self centered politician or a dipstick TV/radio personality, which is probably where you discovered your heroes.

Just a side note, my dad lost a cousin in WWII who fought in the Italian Army, as I said it was a real fear most of these WWII soldiers had.

By the way, in case you weren't aware, tomorrow is Veterans Day. You need to find some way respect and honor the gold standard in terms of heroes and patriots of this country's history.
