You want a nice story write about people vlounteering to read the blind, Carrying a Cross from Texas to Washington is just Masochism! So he could feel better about himself. I got to phone poles in my back yard. One question comes to mind:
When he heard this voice, did it tell him to put put wheels on the cross? I ask cause I don't remember Jesus putting wheels on his.
I also don't recall Jesus asking anything from us except to forgive as he forgave us and to love one another.

Actually there is the Ten Commandments. And from the sounds of the people on here they aren't showing any sort of love for this man....unless you think that they are showing love by saying he needs to be in a "nut house".

The act of repentance is a demonstration of his desire to be better. If he felt that it would be accomplished through carrying a cross, which is a symbolic gesture, so be it. We all desire to make penance for something we did wrong in our lives, whether we follow through or not is the question.
