Reading some of the letters to the editor on teen suicide I believe some more measures need to be taken. My daughter has a grief group in Houston Middle School. This group has helped her deal with losing her friend two years ago. It teaches accountablity, responsibilty, repercussions and how to safetly deal with pressures of teens. The villages have community halls just waiting for a group like my daughters. Utilize the best commodities such as the Elders, youth rolemodels and the young children themselves. Let them talk freely and safetly. Start our children young, talking about pressures. Intertwine these and watch it take off. One village set an example and see what happens.
