You know, I truly believe he murdered his wife & unborn son. No doubt in my mind. What he kept telling his mistress is, "I can't explain everything to you yet.." What did that mean? When he told Diane Sawyer that Laci knew about Amber and found peace with it, Diane incredulously asked him how that was possible, Scott's answer was "no one knows our relationship but us..." Does that tie in with what he told Amber - that he could nto explain everything to her yet... Does that mean that he and Laci had an open marriage, that she would accept his infidelity as long as he would continue to stay married to her, continue to support her and the baby and keep her in the lifestyle she was accustomed to? OR was he simply lying like almost every single word that came out of his mouth for most of his life? It's too bad that Scott Peterson will probably outlive Laci's parents and his parents, sitting in jail, finally having grown used to his lifestyle in prison, access to t.v., books, internet, email, pen pal, relationships via mail, etc, because of the California death row - the last person to be excuted there was like 20+ years ago. What a shame. He deserves to be murdered by injection, then his body should be weighted down and thrown into the marina. Civil lawsuit,-- that's just to let him and his family know Laci's family will never let this go, never ever.

so the tax payers are going to foot the bill for another trial and for what? this guy has no assets, no life and is on death row for murder. what is this WD trial going to accomplish?

i think the last execution in California was in december of 2005. Stanley "Tookie" Williams was executed for murder.

I think you're right, it was Tookie, and Scott is no way as bad as Tookie. Scott Peterson was in a bad marriage and he was simply the one who acted first, who knows how Laci was planning to get out of that bad marriage. I'm sure it was not any nicer than what Scott did, he just made the first move.
