Robert Krutko, Liar, Fraud, Slander Artist

As anyone who reads this and other similar Key West forums can see, Robert Krutko of Columbus, Ohio has been slandering reputable businesses over an incident brought on by him.

I'm not going to say the governments of Monroe County and Key West are free from corruption. But, name one single government that isn't. But this really isn't about government. It's about extremely poor business skills.

The first clue should have been when Robert Krutko's credit was so bad, his wife had to purchase a snorkeling business in her name. There's a real man for you.

The second clue, as a result of the first clue, was that Robert Krutko could not pay his dock fees.

The third clue, like the first two, was when Robert couldn't make his mortgage payments.

Which brings me to a lesson in life usually learned by teenagers. When you fail to pay, you lose your stuff. If you still can't grasp that concept in your upper 30's, then there is no hope for you.

And when you get in over your head and you can't make your payments, the cowardly approach is to blame everyone else but yourself.

But getting back to our educated readers. Anyone who actually takes the time to read Robert Krutko's endless and contradicting stories can clearly see that he is lieing. The evidence is there. You just have to look for it.

And one last thing. The fact that Robert responds to himself under different names and carries on conversations with himself only strengthens this report.

Robert Krutko attempted a watersports business venture in Key West, FL a couple years ago. His business failed and he fell deep into arears with dockage fees and maintainance fees. The result was the loss of his business and boat.

This is very important for anyone involved in watersports, boat rentals, yacht brokerage, or charters in Florida. Robert Krutko blames the failure of his business on EVERYONE but him.

Robert is calling various businesses EVERY DAY and recording his conversations with them. Apparently, he doesn't understand how illegal that is.

This is very important. Robert claims there are state or federal investigations on various businesses, law enforcement agencies, etc. Also, he is claiming large media interest. He is saying this in attempt to frighten people into telling him what he wants to hear. HE IS LIEING! There are no such investigations on anyone. In fact, no law enforcement agency or civil attorney has picked up his case. I repeat, THERE IS NO INVESTIGATION! There is absolutely nothing to investigate.

If you're still not sure, just look at all of the crap he's posted on the internet, including A LOT of reports here alone. If there was an active investigation, or if Robert was filing a lawsuit on anyone, he would not be posting this much. It would kill any case he may have.

Robert Krutko has smeared this smut all over the internet and is making very disturbing claims; claims that don't even make sense.

AVOID this man at all costs. He is a dead-beat and shows very clear signs of serious mental instabilities.

I'm sure he will respond to this, because he practically lives on the internet. And he'll probably respond under different aliases. That's what he does. That's what fraud artists do.

He claims people are trying to cover things up. What, I don't know. There's nothing to cover up.

The house has already gone back to the finance company. The foreclosure is over. Call Century 21 if you want info. It's not a bad house, just your typical cheap modular on stilts.

The "boat" is a half sunk pontoon boat, a total piece of crap not worth salvaging in or out of the water.

And yes there have been government people inquiring about the owner's whereabouts and more.

I'm very familiar. I have a house on the opposite side of that canal.

The house is worse than you think. It hasn't been cleaned since the Wilma flood. The whole downstairs enclosure needs taken down due to thick mold.

As for the boat, Krutko is being investigated by DEP for that half-sunken pontoon. I orginally reported it to the Sheriff's Office and Code Enforcement, but they told me that sunken boats tied to private property are a DEP issue. However, Code Enforcement did make Krutko clean the yard.

But, that pontoon is not the boat in question. The boat of this subject is a 45' dive boat. It would not fit in that canal

Robert pretended to be someone else and called a state agency coercing them to say what he wanted. That's pretty much exactly what truthbetold reported.

State of Florida says United Yacht Sales did absolutely nothing wrong, unethical or illegal in regards to claims made by Robert Krutko

I have remained quiet for a good while, simply waiting for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to report on the allegations made by Robert Krutko. Robert has accused me of lying and of deceitful and illegal business practices and in general slandering United Yacht Sales, my brokers and myself.

We received the report today. The State has given everyone involved with United Yacht Sales a total clean bill of health. We did nothing wrong, either ethically or legally. The report is quite lengthy but to sum it up there is “no evidence to substantiate a violation” The full report is available from the DPBR, case # 2007 03 8311 or you may contact me directly at peterschmidt@unitedyacht.com Any brokers that sided with Robert in this blogging, you really should read the report and get the facts straight.

Robert has been relentless, attacking everyone involved in this incident. He has told half- truths, twisted time-lines, pretended to people he isn’t to further his attacks, accused totally innocent people of terrible things. I never once lied, as he accuses me. It took me a coupe of days to get all the facts straight and I admitted to a misunderstanding of weather the boat was re-arrested or simply remained under arrest and if his court case was settled or not. This misunderstanding has no bearing on Robert’s situation, in any case.

Folks, Robert caused his own problems and refuses to deal with them in a civilized manor. I feel sorry for the people he has slandered and have no way to defend themselves except through a blog where lying and slandering is acceptable. The Internet has really become a dangerous place!

For anyone who reads this and can’t see what kind of a person Robert is, please Google search Robert Krutko. It’s a real eye-opener. It’s a shame the Internet has come to this! In the mean time, we at United are happy to hear from anyone regarding this incident or in helping you in the sale or purchase of a boat.
