This so called woman, is infact no woman at all. To read this story disgusts me, to know this murderer personally enrages me. The fact that an innocent child has died because of a lack of interest in caring for your own child, should in itself be the worst part of this story, however its not. This "mother" wants to call what happened to her daughter an accident. Not feeding your child is not an accident. Not tending to your childs medical needs is not an accident. And going out out partying after your baby has died, is definatley not showing any grief. Thats what this "mother" did. I watched the news casting and the interviews with her family. And all I seen was a bunch of enabling. The step father claimed "Amy had no time to grieve"....Amy was at the club a couple of nights after her baby died.... she could have taken some of that time then to grieve. Then, on the news interview, the family stated that the baby was premature and thats why she did not survive. A baby does not die at the age of 13 months from being BORN premature. It is time the system does its job, a gives that baby girl the justice she deserves, that her mother does not. With everynight I pray, I pray this case does not go unnoticed, and that the so called "parent" who intentionally ingnored her daughters needs resulting in her death will be thrown into Gods hands. God Bless you Jasmine and may you rest in peace in a place more secure then you would have ever known.

You are right, people should not make comments on people they dont KNOW!.... Good thing the person who made that comment DOES know all parties involved.... actually im not sure if that is a good thing, or an unfortunate one....

Once again you are assuming things, YOU dont know about. Assuming that the authorities werent called and notified, is just stupid on your behalf, because had you have been reading, watching, and following along on this story you would see that the reason everyone is upset is because nothing WAS DONE when the authorities were notified the FISRT time, PRIOR, to the baby dying.... So either I'm not understanding your argument SOS, or your not understanding the reason behind the argument itself. Either way, an innocent child has passed due to negelect.

that's where you are wrong i understand that the DCF case worker found no problems with this mother this child had many health problems and what i meant by if this was going on and nothing was done is because you speak as if you knew her why didn't you do something about it?anyone who knows this mother knows she didn't do it! jasmine's death is sad but why does that mean someone has to be to blame?

If a child dies of stravation someone has to be to blame. The court will decide.

prove that it was starvation and you are right the courts will decide and when they do remember never judge a person due to a story written by a reporter because you cant count on that they didnt even spell the child or the mother's name right how do we expect them to know all the facts?? just a thought!

I agree, our laws say a person is innocent until proven guilty. If it wasn't starvation but a health problem someone must still accept the blame..a doctor, a family member, a social worker, or the mother or father. An IV can feed an infant if it is not eating.

I agree that someone should be to blame
they should not point the finger on her mother until you can prove it was her this child had so many health problems iam suprised she lived as long as she did
hope they are not pointing fingers and a quick answer so they can make a example out of her because of the lack of responiblity DCF had in other key largo cases and never took blame for

Doesnt a medical examiners report stating : Cause of death; Chronic Malnutrition due to negelect, Charge: Homicide. mean anything? When a medical examiners report came out the baby had 3 ounces of clear fluids in her body. The report goes back 10 days prior to the death. Shouldnt there have been some sort of fluids in her body had she been getting proper care from her guardian? Also you go back to reminding how the baby was sick, she was premature, with eye/sight issues not eating issues. If your going to keep using the baby was sick as a crutch, dont forget about how right you are, and that the guardian should have been taking the baby to her scheduled doctors apoointments, which she failed to do. Infact not only did she not take the baby to her scheduled doctors appointments for her premature conditions, she didnt take her when her weight started dropping. Call it what you want, but I call that neglect. Not only that, did you read anything about her two other children she has and their progression or care?

If this is true then the mother must take responsibility. My worry is that SOMEONE will not be held accountable for the death of a child. Too many trials result in not guilty verdicts for technicalities or sympathetic juries. Look at O.J. Simpson. Has anyone been held accountable for two deaths? Nope. It may very well happen here.

Just so everyone knows first trial was a mistrial. I hope this doesn't fall into the cracks no matter who is at fault.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Taurus

Try hard not to let money or possessions come between you and a friend today, unless it's over something that has got to be sorted out before it goes any further. For instance, if someone owes you money and has consistently failed to pay it back, this is a good day for mentioning it to them and finding out what's going on. If necessary, you may have to be quite vehement.
