I wanted to send a note from southern California to the people in Hailey, Idaho regarding PFC Bowe Bergdahl. In reading the recent reports I am reminded of How Great our God is and how we can not lose sight of Him when things are dark for us. The darkness is light to Him. And he promises in His word that He is the God who “makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters” (Isaiah 43:16). And in Isaiah 42:16 He says “I will bring the blind by a way they did not know and lead them in paths they have not known.” Bowe Bergdahl probably feels ‘blind’ right now. He doesn’t know what is coming or where he is but we can know that God is able to save to the uttermost those who put their trust in Him. Let’s put our trust in Him now to lead this young man by a way he did not know , in paths he has not known. Leading him home .
