Man Killed In Small Plane Crash | WBNS-10TV, Central Ohio's New...
A Clark County man was killed when his homemade air craft crashed Saturday night.

I knew and respected this man. He was a heart dr. in clark co. Buy just talking to him , you would not know he was a doctor, He was,nt stuffy like most drs. Doc loved airplanes and shared his love of flight with others. Doc will be missed by many.
From what I understand , Doc was returning from Canada after just having floats installed on the plane. Also Doc was a smart pilot. |

Deepest sympathy from the area of this tragic accident.
In reference to Skyking's post....the comment that infuriated you, certainly could of been edited in respect to the pilot's loved ones. However, I don't believe you should refer to it as ignorant. Perhaps the young man was in shock, being the first to reach the pilot, I am sure he was having a difficult time. He meant no disrespect.....he is only a kid. Again.....sympathy to all the family and friends. |

My son was the one that was interviewed and he is 18. He is not ignorant infact he is very smart and is going to be serving our country very soon. LEt me just say, he was devistated. When the plane had crashed no one would go to the plane but my son and his friend and they were hoping to help him. My son called me histerical and felt terible. He had suffered from a very tramatic event 6 months ago and the plane crash brought it all back. HE only wanted to help.....that is all..... to bad you are so hateful, life is to short for that type of attitude.

He was my cousin. He came from a poor farming family. They came from Germany during WWII. They had nothing when they got here. His family saved and bought a small farm. He overcame the language barrier and worked hard in school to become a doctor. My Grandmother, Ane Kalvaitis is his aunt. She remembers him well as a boy and is very sad. She said, "He always had time to visit me in the summer, I hope his wife and son still come." Thank You to all the people who helped.
