Fatal hit and run in Township of Franklin in Portage County, 47...

i knew sandra j howell and her husband carl. i am so sorry to hear of her passing my prayers are with the family and carl.

Whoever did this is a coward. I lost my daughter. She was such a wonderful daughter. PLEASE SOMEONE COME FORWARD. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO LOSE MY CHILDREN THIS WAY. GOD BLESS ANYONE WHO CAN HELP.

I didn't know Sandra, but I know her sister Cindy. We work together. This is so sad. I do hope the coward comes forward. My prayers are with Cindy and her entire family.

I am sorry for your lost, your daughter and family are in my prayers. Last year I lost my best freind to a hit and run accident and though I will never fully understand your loss, I do feel your pain. I pray that you will receive closure and peace with this. i hope anyone who saw this tragic accident will be brave and come forward for your daughters sake.

Our family has known this family for a very long time..Sandy was a great woman and always had a funny story or something nice to say when I would run in to her. Our thoughts and prayers are with this family.

I can't believe how someone could just hit someone and leave like that.. How do u live with urself?? Its been all over the news so The person has to know what they did.. Sandy was the kindest person ever and someone took her away and won't take responsiblity for it.. I hope they fry when they find them... My thoughts and prayers are with Carl and The Family.. What kind of coward can sleep at night after doing someting so horrible? He/she HAS to know. All I can say is that there will be a judgement--if not in this life-then in the next. Just a suggestion---you may want to come forward now instead of waiting for your judgement day.

I knew Sandra J. Howell she was a co-worker and supervisor of mine. She was a great and amazing person and always made me laugh. Who ever is the person who hit her please come foward. She has a family who deserves to have peace of mind and heart.

My heart felt sympathy to the Howell's on this tragic death. Let's hope the forensics team of Portage County catch the criminal and lock him/her up for a very long time.....

My step father (Carl) and Sandra's family has suffered a great loss. Whoever the coward is that created this horrible loss has to be found. I pray that someone will come forward soon with information about the person who did this to our family. Sandra was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many.She did not deserve to be taken from us all this early in life.

My deepest sympathy to this family. I will keep all of you in my prayers! And may God show no mercy on the coward that did this to Sandra!

Sandra was my cousin....by marriage. I feel terrible for what happened. I don't understand how the driver could just leave her laying there. I hope he is punished severely for what they did.

Thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends. I pray that they find the person responsible, or that he/she will turn themselves in to authorities.

Sandy's sister Cindy is like a daughter to me. Sandy was a friend. No one deserves to die like this. Whoever did this knows what you did. Please turn yourself in. Too many of us are praying and it is going to be harder on you if you wait to be caught. God knows what was going on in your heart and your fear. It is not going away. It will only get worse. Please, Sandy and her family need closure.

carl was my cousin.and sandy was a good person and they are a great couple my family spent time at holidays with them and special family events. carl will be lost without her and she will be greatly missed from are family. this person will pay for this soon. you can only hide so long!!!!!

I went to school with Sandy's daughter Shannon, and in all the years we went to school together I never saw Sandy without a huge smile on her face. She was a very nice and happy person. My prayers are with the entire family. I pray that justice is found and this person gets everything they deserve for the hurt they are causing.

I knew Sandy and her family, Shaonnon and I where good friends growing up living across from each other. Sandy was a great person and I am still in shock that this has happened. Sandy you will be missed, my sympathy goes out to Shannon and the rest of the family, sorry for your loss.
