The Victim was WHITE

The 15 year old girl that was raped was WHITE!!

I'm not so sure that she was, because that school is 78% Hispanic, 10% black, 7% asian and only 2% white. However, there are several reasons to suggest that she might be white, such as:

1) She couldn't be black because she was waiting for "her father" to pick her up. A black father who takes care of his kids in Richmond, CA is about as rare as a polka dot zebra. Also, if she was black, then the media would blare that message far and wide.

2) She might not be Latrino because the media portrays them (together with all non-whites) as victims and therefore this too would've been blasted across the news.

3) Her race was not disclosed....that could be because the media doesn't want to inflame whites.

4) There is no mention of a "hate crime", because as we all know, only whites can be charged with a hate crime. When gangs of blacks and latrinos attack whites for no reason, it's just "random". It could also be that if it were Latrino on Latrino crime, then there would be no hate crime.

5) The utter depravity and sickness of this crime suggests that there had to be hatred for the victim. If the girl had been Latrino, then I doubt that it would've gone on so long (2.5 hrs). Someone would've protested and intervened.

How many more of our children will we sacrifice in the name of diversity? When we we stand up, shout the truth, and oppose this menace. I SAY NOW! Who's with me?

That comment above from the ignorant person in ohio is ridiculous. This story is not a race nor a hate issues. And Im quite sure the victims race is not what prolonged the rape session, and no anyone can commit a hate crime but to be racist is not something a minority can be because the formula for racism is "being prejudice + having the POWER" to do something about that hatred. That anger you feel is the anger many people feel when members of their minority's are beaten, ignored, or killed and no one cares about it so join the club.

first of all black women tend to not be portrayed in the media (at all) especially when it comes to rape, hate crimes or kidnapping it's always stories about that happening to white women that make th enews and thats why white womena re seen more as not-at-fault victims whereas minority women are ignored and THAT is a fact anyone in the journalism industry or in college could tell anyone without pause. And also, although history has put white women on pedestals scaring the race by villifying black men and other minority men to make it seem as if they are out to kill their women- thats not true. A latino man is more likely to harm a woman of his own race and the same for a black man than a white women.

I don't know if you can say that, Kami has a black and a mexi as her besties, so... She wants to go to an ivy, good luck on that, the disadvantage of a crappy school with substandard teachers (good teachers don’t do these schools). No matter how terrible what happen to her, she has a huge settlement coming from the school district. She might do something like elizabeth smart, a personal development / inspirational book on regaining the dignity stole from her that night...she will have an agent and a personal assistant in 6 months.

How sad. I can say, having served time, that these rapist kids will be raped everyday in prison. However, much worse. It is true what you hear about molesterors and rapist, when they go to prison..they are in for a world of pain. What a waste of their future. And as for the victim (the girl), my heart bleeds for her. I pray that she will find peace within herself, as well as compassion.

maybe Obama will invite the victim and the rapists over for a beer and get everything swept under the rug.
