I have to say I took my family in and they have the best food ever!!!! The chile cheese fries are heaven. The homemade blackberry cake is OMG so good. The philly chicken sandwich is even better than the old Dwights. It is loaded with meat yum yum Chatterbox rocks

The chatterbox now will never compare to when Sonny Jarvis owned it. Them gals back then could cook and was the best waitresses around. I miss the old place it was the best place in town back then. Sure wish it was still there. Don't even go in there because it sure doesn't hold true to the real Chatterbox.

the food is good but lil miss Haley is missed as waitress - great young girl!

I agree with "Kenova Raised". Everything changed after Sonny died. The girls tried to keep it going, but it was never the same. Oh what I would give for a big bowl of Jenny's vegetable soup or a "Chatterbox Special" Now those were the good Ole Days. All the old timers are about all gone, but they were special people and when you went there you became part of the Chatterbox family. It may have the same name, but it will never measure up to the Old Chatterbox. You just had to be there.

Shirley has the best run business anywhere. She won't tolerate laziness, theives, or drugs.I worked for her, got fired. I still respect her. She is a very fair person but is 100% business minded.I hear she is very ill with cancer and my prayers are with her.She worked our butts off but paid more than any other place in town or huntinton. I know this.Fet off of the old days. You say you have not been there in years. Her place is the best of the best.I have seen her take up for kids being abused. She sent a child inside and called the father to come for his child so she could (talk) with the momma. if ya know what I mean. She is one tough lady, but very fair.

Is that why the hours have changed? They're only open 8:00-2:30pm now.

The hrs. are only 5 days a week. mom.- fri. 8am-2;30 She is once again battling cancer. She will be doing chemotheraphy and radiation. She is very ill. She had cancer 12 yr. ago. She is a strong woman and of great faith. please pray for healing. She is selling Chatterbox. She has worked so hard to make it and we know how hard it is for anyone to make a living in Kenova.

Has she sold Chatterbox? How is she doing?
