Should Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy both be fired for poor 08 packrs team

First off I have been a Packer fan my whole life. I said it in the off season when McCarthy said the train has left the station. Farve was a leader on this team and that is one of the reasons they sucked this year. Sure you can say they lost because their defense but it really came down to a lack of experience from Rodgers in the 4th quarter. Rodgers really impressed me otherwise but a lack of leadership caused this team to crumble under the decision of Thompson and McCarthy. As far as I see it they gambled on their decision to trade Favre and now they should live with the consequence. We need Donald Trump for a day so we can here the gratifying words. "your fired"

First off if Thompson was such a great GM a team that goes 13 and 3 should never fall off the chart like that. In one year they went from Super bowl contenders to 3rd in the devision a difference of 7 wins. The truth is the water got hot when he traded Favre, now the water is boiling because they sucked without him. They lost games due to Rodgers interceptions in the 4th quarter.

They need to fire McCarthy ASAP, how do you have a loosing season with the best players in the NFL? The answer is bad coaching, 5 wide equals touchdown and thats all I have to say.

Ted was the wrong man for the job in the first place. Zone blocking and the Philly style defense will NEVER work in poor Lambeau conditions. Did Harlan hire him? Knucklehead.

I'm disappointed in your hostility toward Ted Thompson. I can see disappointment in Mike McCarthy, but I think you will find that Ted's decisions will work out.
I agree that Farve is a leader you cannot replace, but dont you feel a little relieved watching another saga of "is he or isnt he retired"?
I believe the Green Bay Offense is fine. They would have done better if they had more opportunity and not constantly trying to keep up.
This season will tell, but all I ask is that you hold your hostility for one more season.
It will work out.

Ted Thompson has outlived his abilities, time for some fresh blood, bring back Holmgren as GM. McCarthy has always been mediocre. Bring in a real coach

McCarthy should be spending a little less time trying to be a TV personality and a LOT more time trying to be a football coach.

yes, yes, yes... It's time to get real about the Packers. If I have to hear Mike say, "We have to focus on the poooositive" or "We need to clean some things up", ONE MORE TIME-I am going to lose it! What was with his post game comments today about being 4 and 4 is a .500 season and average. It almost sounds like he is cool with this. Has he just arrived in America off the banana boat?.500 is not acceptable for the Packers and I think that type of comment is a slap in the face to all Packer fans. It is time to clean house up in Green Bay. I actually have no desire to watch a game anytime soon. It hurts too much to see half-assed efforts and Mike's excuses. both should be replaced - undisaplined team (MOST penalties 2 years in a row), poor development of a quality offensive line to protect a franchise QB. special teams poor. Poor draft picks, - wrong type of team for a capers 3-4 def. where does it end.
