Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day where ever you are and what ever you are doing.

Well as of 30 minutes ago we are now the proud owners of our own home. Now the "fun" begins Friday! I will be there early and staying late painting, cleaning, and all the other great and fun preparations that one needs to do in order to make a new home into their home, while CAT will be making the money to pay for this new home. LOL
My goal is to be moved in by Thanksgiving and cook my Thanksgiving dinner in my new place!!!

Hey by any chance do any of you know of anyone who may have a mannequin’s leg I could borrow, rent, or buy? Or do you have any idea as to where I might be able to go look for one? You think that maybe the mall would have one?

Well gots lots to do so I will more than likely be scarce for the next few days.

Hey all! BB I know you are so excited and I am so happy for you. Hope everyone else is enjoying this beautiful weather. I am looking forward to tomorrow off. My thanks to all the Veterans who answered the call for my benefit. I do not know your sacrifice but I am grateful to you. Because I did not do what I said I would, a friend died without knowing my Lord so the tftd is an old one.

Hello everybody! I can't believe we're getting close to turkey day already. Time seems to accelerate the older I get, and I don't care for that at all. Oh well, sometimes one just has to roll with the flow. I'm outta here, zoom.........

I hope everyone had a loverly day. Had a busy day as usual. After our noon meeting we went to a Veteran's Day program. It was very nice.

I just have to slow down. By the end of the day, I'm ready to drop........and have so much to do yet. lol

It will get done though sooner or later. I've found that all those things I didn't get to wait for me.

We're going to pick up flags and then I may come home and take a shovel to some of this stuff that has piled up. LOL

Just checkin' in. MoArk, that also sounds like a village out of a Stephen King novel-be very careful!!lol. Love this beautiful fall weather and could stand it for a few months. Lets have winter just a month or two before warm weather. BB how's the painting coming along? Yep, it is almost turkey day, I get to cook this year. I'm looking forward to it. I get to cook and mess then I can go to work and let someone else clean up the mess. Sounds like a perfect situation to me. Not to mention I get to count my blessings for everyone to hear. I will be sure to count all my mc friends. mJw, do you have a m&g planned? This is a busy season and my thought for the day stems from those of us who try to do to many things at once: TFTD: You can only eat an elephant one bite at a time.

I start the painting tomorrow! I am getting all my tools and supplies ready to take there in the morning! I want to be moved in BEFORE Thanksgiving and it may just happen.
I seen Bear at the license place today. It was great to see her and get a "bear" hug today!
It is a long story but by accident we found out they had royally messed up our registeration on the bike! It was in someone else's name. It took a while to get all that straightened out too.

Good late evening all.

I am just now getting on here.
I had to go give blood. Well, not really give blood, they took some blood. It's one of those ongoing things, stick your finger (Cholesterol too high), then go 'splain why I'm still taking too much on the scales. I say I have had a broke arm and it was just too easy to eat food that could be fast fixed. I said ok, then I will take off except the necessary coverin' clothes and don't weigh jewelry, shoes, jacket, purse. We fight about that all the time. Then when they took my blood pressure, the said it was a little high. I 'splained that after going through them calling me in 30 minutes past my appointment time and having to do that weighing thing, yes, it would be a little high, besides I had to fast so they could take blood and was hungry. Then they let me go give that blood to the lady in the lab. She said, "That's it. Have a nice day" I told her I was going to start by going to IHOP and having breakfast/lunch.. finally. I did and had a big breakfast with pecan pie pancakes on the side. I'll have 3 months to work that breakfast/lunch off.
Dontcha just love going to the Dr.?

Other than that, it's just been a great day.
I did stop and get some new make up. I got completely out and said that I have to go get makeup. Halloween is past so people won't think I'm dressed up for Halloween.

So, BB, are you still there painting? Those folks worked really hard to get moved. Her place wasn't ready until a few days ago. She was worn out. I visited with her for a good bit yesterday. If the neighbor gets too loud, just bake him a pie and take it over. He'll eat a piece of that and then take a nap.

Mssanta, good to have you stop in. We do get discouraged now and then. Then we seem to get some life back in here. Feel free to drop in any time and chat with us. We're pretty harmless most of the time.
Now that it is getting close to the holidays, I think you'll see more in here acting really nice. You know that saying...'Santa Claus is watching you' pulls a lot of weight.

I'll step out and see what has boiled up while I've been gone today.

Just getting home, I finally got out to the bluff and through the park today, been there since seven this morning. What a wonderful place to drink one's morning coffee. Tonight I guess I'm hunkerin' down at home after that exercise, lol.

I see some mia's finally checked in, thought I'd have to send a search party out for them.
