Been on Fox News for about an hour. Two held, loomking for 3rd suspect. Base on lock-down.
This is on Drudge report also.
Main shooter, Major Malik Nadal Hasan, killed.
He had served previous tours.
Very sad news.
Families need prayer...

Now hearing other military men may not be involved.

Single shooter, a Muslim scumbag, $500,000.00 free medical education by the US Army, then he does this. Scumbag is still alive. must upset the Muslims that he was brought down by a female LEO hero. She was wounded, but is in stable condition.

He was a US born citizen. Served in the military for years and years. His religion and heritage should have nothing to do with it. It is looking more and more like an issue of mental health.

Am I the only one who noticed obama calling Ft. Hood a base on national TV? Army installations are called Posts. This is a big deal to Army folks. The Commander in Chief should know better.

I have set here and read wheat everyone has said, I am a military brat, and now a military wife. It will be awhile before we know why he did what he did, and good chances are we will never know the real truth. Right now all I can think about is those YOUNG men and women and there families who were injuried or killed during this. And for all of the other soliders who have or are protecting our country. Hate caused this, so lets put our hate aside for awhile and think about the others. Pray for everyone at Ft. Hood.

A base is a base, no matter if it is Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard. Do some damn research before you try to call someone out. Now the difference is in the name of the base. Army is Fort whatever and Marines is Camp whatever. It is still a damn base. An Army base, A Naval base, A Marine base and so on. It is not that big of a deal either, when people like you are misinformed, the military personnel understand that civilians do not understand our way of life.

You really need help. I only know right off the top of my head what the Army "bases" are called because of my father and the Marines cause I am one.

Things like this have been happening every since the war started, not so much attacks on base, but soldiers going on a killing spree. Do you know how many men have came back and lost their minds and killed their wife and kids? Then on the other side, they make it through their whole time there and come back and get killed in a car accident. I had a few friends that had that happen to them and it is very sad.

Please think before you post. Not everything is about Obama.

It's still a base you moron. The difference comes in when it comes to what individual BASES are called. Army has names like Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Hood, Marines have names like Camp Lejeune, Camp Penleton, Navy will sometimes have names like Naval Station, Naval Air Station, and so on.

Do you even think before you post? You have internet, why not look it up? I am not for Obama, but at the same time I am not for stupidity either. You hear one thing and you jump to that instead of the issue of this soldier going into kill mode and taking the lives of more soldiers that should still be here right now.

I am just guessing at the ages, because I don't remember right off the top of my head without going back and reading it, but the ages are pretty close.

What about preachers that rape little boys? What about these women that bury their chidren in the back yard? The point is, just because of someones profession, their age, their gender, their size, does not mean they can not do no wrong.
