Mr Younger passed away this morning. He did so much for so many, with a quiet, gentle way about him. He will be missed by this community . http://www.dddnews.com/story/1586619.html

I will truly miss you sir, you were so jolly and full of stories that I enjoyed hearing. I know you were in peace, and now you may sing with the angels. Rest my friend, as you are with God, and the loving ppl in heaven.

He was one special man! He has done so much for this community, always cared about everyone, always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. There will never be another person quiet like him!! He is in a better place now, I am sure he is telling some really great stories...

"Mister T." Younger was a wonderful man--smart, strong, generous, hard-working, big smile, a true Christian. I saw that headline about his death and felt my heart skip a beat; I hated having to call my mother to tell her the news, although I know his health had deteriorated in recent years. The man I'll remember was always a larger than life character and definitely a big part of my experience growing up in Kennett. He'll be very missed by all who knew and loved him. God bless the Younger family in their time of sorrow.

from the time I met Mr. younger, I knew I had a friend for life. He was so very kind and his wife too. I don't know all the childrens names, but I want you all to know, he was a very religious man, proud of his family, and cared about the town he lived in. God Bless him, he was so well respected in this community. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I have known Mr.Younger ever since I was a teen checking out groceries at Wallace and Owens. He grabbed my arm and told me Girl you better smile at me. We were friends ever since. He called to check on me when I would move all over the country. I could tell him how long it would take me to drive to where I was living and my phone would be ringing before I could get the key in the door.If he loved you he always loved you. He was one of my favorite people and I am less of a person without having him for a friend. What a wonderful friend. I will see you someday Mr. Younger and Jeanette will just have to wait to get a hug and smile!

Mr Younger was one of the finest men this county has ever known! I wish his family peace knowing that he is with his Lord. I can honestly say that he was the only man in this town that I never heard anyone say a bad thing about. We are all honored to have known him!

Is this the same T. Younger that used to live in Bragg City? I figure it is... I remember him when I was very little, he used to come to my grandparents house and sit outside with everybody in the summertime. He always had a smile on his face and was a great man. If I remember right, he drove a truck with a camper on the back for years. Everyone in Bragg City thought highly of T. I hope he and my Papa are together up there and catching up on the good ole days. R.I.P
