They need 150,000 signatures to it to be on the ballot in Nov. So if there was a petition brought to Dunklin County to help get it put on the ballot, would you sign it?

I'm sure hundreds of people would be more than happy to sign the petition. Dunklin, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Stoddard, Butler are just a few counties in our area that would have numerous signers. So we need to get in gear so this will be on the ballot in November. Keep spreading the word no telling how many thousands are still unaware of this movement that's just in our near future. Thanks and keep passing the great news around.
<quoted text> I agree! No person who is morally sound can think this is okay. Plant or not, since you're preaching about pot and all, the Bible tells us not to become intoxicated. I'm sorry, but if it affects your mind or way of thinking, you're becoming intoxicated. You just might wanna open that book instead of just thumping it.
it also states that jesus turns water into wine and to drink and be merry. Hell the blood of christ is wine. All im sayin is its safer to smoke a joint or bowl then it is to eat peanuts. check the death tolls for proof

Start using logic instead of "dumbassedness.".(ye s, I know it is not a word but it makes perfect sense to describe you idiots). It will never pass. Ha ha. OK logic. the legalization of medical and decriminalzation of marijuana for people OVER the age of 21 in the state of missouri will generate billions in taxes boost the local economy by providing jobs and take all the revenue this multi billion dollar industry makes out of the hands of dangerous people that sell other harder drugs as well. so the logical thing to do is legalize cronic and stop wasting our police forces time and resources on kicking the door in on your local herb provider to get an ounce of the street will 2 houses down someones cooking a batch of meth and gettin of scott free with thousands of dollars in a way more dangerous drug.

Only problem is that most of the people who smoke 'chronic' have no medical reason to do so, therefore, will not help the economy at all. Another problem is that these said people who smoke 'chronic' will not work or cannot because they're too stoned or burned out. I think we have a big enough problem with legal medications around here with all of the people who are strung out on pills. I get so sick of seeing twenty year olds who have either 'back problems or fibromyalgia' who sit at home and draw a check while I go to work everyday and only take Tylenol for herniated discs. That's what is wrong with our young people today, we've taught them to be dependent on drugs, their parents, the government. They simply have to whine a little and we allow them to live like teenagers forever. There comes a time when you have to grow up, take responsibility, take a little pain, and put drugs and the teenage life away!

Comparing marijuana to other illicit drugs is flawed logic. It would be like saying "I would rather be stabbed than shot." You get hurt by both but neither is good. Why don't you come up with a logical reason to legalize it. Oh the tax argument is not logical either. Tax the hell out of it? That will cause the price of marijuana to go up and the dealers will be able to sell it less and now make more money on the Black Market. You people are smoking too much of your pot or just don't live in reality. Probably both. It will never pass anyway.

Imagine if only a few tomato plants or any other veg or fruit you use daily or weekly, being able to provide that for yourself. Is the garden in ppls back yards taxed? I know they have tried and actually been successful at doing it in some cases. I know a guy that grows strawberry's for fun because he loves them. It's not extremely hard and he even gives some away cause it is so easy and cheap to produce and again is just mainly a hobby. This guy knows how easy it is to produce enough strawberries to provide him and several other close friends and relatives with. Is there a strawberry dealer on the black market? If so how is it beneficial to go that route rather than grow them yourself to meet the demand or just walk into a store and avoid the BS with them and buy and pay tax. Anyone can have a garden but most prefer not to in this day and age. They go to the marker/shop and score what they need happily. So if they just drop the illegal plant crap all together it becomes a non-issue with violence due to trafficking an illegal substance. The money is and always will be more in something controlled or straight out illegal. MJ is a class 1 saying it has NO medical or non medical use. In other words "Totally Useless". I don't believe that for a second nothing is completely useless, nothing. The class 2 shit is all deadly but just controlled, regulated and is illegal to obtain without a script or legit use of some crazy ass kind, can't think of any at the moment. Medicinal use just moves it to a class 2 for the most part, but since it's a raw unprocessed only dried plant, they offer a license to grow X number of plants based on the prescription. Yeah Yeah, I know most ppl that use it abuse this Medicinal use only stuff. So how is this any different than the abuse on all Schedule 2 controlled narcotics that are legal. It's a can of crap, coke is a rich mans drug unless it's based into crack (a diluted version of coke and smoke-able) but supposedly has medical or other Dr./Med related issues that makes it legal under some studies or patients? have no idea what they would be but that is what class 2 is for, your narcotic scripts available everywhere at every corner literally. Did you see the ad in the Kennett paper a few days ago????????? I know I did, the headline read "Have you ever used methamphetamine's, testers needed for a test. Must be the age of 18 and not on any regular medication of any king"? LMFAO! You know why? Because they are testing it's effects and stuff on ppl that are willing to volunteer and WILL BE PAID! I swear to god look into this. I'll find the ad I almost cut it out. Why is because Meth (Number one abused and fastest to test clean on) is a class/schedule 2 narcotic. Class 1's can't even be tested without the act of congress man. WTF. Learn then post. Research the refer madness years (Thanks to f-ing Nixon), sounds like you might be from those years. What else can the government to folk like yourself to where you will sip suds from your favorite beer and never think of the blood sweat and tears that took place to give you the right to a cold one Sir.
