I will try to be nice. I am tired of all the news coverage and stories regarding Michael Jackson. That is currently bugging me as I tried to watch my morning news programs.

On a good note, I'm glad we got some rain and this cool weather is sure refreshing for the middle of the summer!

yea the grass is green and i have not had to mow for the past month. but now i do. i still have a job. so my wife has not left me because i still have a job. kids are all moving off. my house is not worth what it was 2 years ago. need a new truck but too scared to trade it off because of making payments. unemployment rate is over 10% in 15 states. hope misouri is not one of them. gas is cheaper in caruthersville. under $2.00. did any of that sound good. i really dont think so.

well I am trying to find a rent house that will not cost me more than paycheck in onw week. What are all these landlords thinking....since we are in a recession that they should jack up the rent so they can make ends meet...what about all the ppl out there who work their fingers to the bone just to put food on the table, and then thats not much at all.

My children are growing up so quickly. I looked at them today and it saddened me a bit. I can remember taking them to the park and pushing them on the swing. Waiting at the bottom of the slide to swoop them up in my arms- now they are too big to even pick up! And they only go to the park with their friends.
Friday nights use to be our movie nights. We would go to Blockbuster, then come home and eat our kettle corn with the movie. Now they go to the movies with their friends on Friday nights :(
I still drive them everywhere though. My daughter even got me a key chain that says "Moms Taxi-Buckle Up". So for now, I will cherish the fact that they still need me to take them places- until next year when my son starts driving!
My neighbor was saying how she gets tired of having to do everything for her kids. My advice to her and to everyone else with young children is: enjoy it while you can, because one day you will wish they needed you more. I sure do.

have watched all of Walter Cronkite past video, and didn't realize I grew up with him. He will be buried in Mo, and I wonder where? I can look later, I thought it was interesting it was Mo.

I remember those times. Their first steps, first words, trying out new foods, etc. When I get around babies now, I get what my husband calls the "baby blues", because I think I want another one. So, for now, until I have grandbabies, I enjoy my neighbor and friends babies. Enjoy your little one, because time goes by so fast and they grow so quickly!

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Sagittarius

You'll enjoy some very extravagant and indulgent in coming weeks. You might spend money like water, or splash out on all sorts of treats. This is great if you've got the cash to spare, but not such good news if you're struggling to stretch your money until the next payday. You'll also be feeling very sensual and seductive, so watch out world!
