Everybody who needs Christ in their life please come to Ely Baptist Church tonight at 6 worship. We love to have anyone there. Spread the word. It doesn't matter what you wear come as you are. Nothing fancy. We open the doors to all. We are moving forward to new things coming our way and we love to share it with you. If you can't make it tonight. Sunday classes is at 945 am. If you have excuses to why not come I hope you will at least pass the word to other people who are lost and wants to find the peace they need to enjoy Christ in their life. You will be glad you excepted Christ in your heart. And if you don't want to come I will pray for everyone on this site to find Christ in your heart. Amen.

I can't think of the number at hand. But they have an van that goes around and pick up people if you ever want to come. But remember Beeg Mama God is with you whereever you are. Church can be in your home as long as you believe who is and doing right by the Lord. God doesn't look down at you. If you would do what I do I don't WORRY about a thing I get up in the morning thanking God for everything and to show me what am I do today. Hey I"m poor. But I don't look at like that. I look at it as I'm to be content what I have and as long as I have faith something better will come my way. God doesn't answer all my prayers but I don't get mad at him I just say okay its NO today and go on. As long as he's in your heart is enough. Church is for christians family to come together for the lord and to love one another and help the ones who needs it and doesn't understand. I love my church family it helps me grow in spiritual stronger. Amen to that. I'm not to put anyone down whatsoever who doesn't go. I just wish either way it goes at home or a church you would bring the christ into your life.

That was very thoughtful of you to invite all us people to church. Unfortunately, there are not many here who seem to want to do anything more with their life but use topix as their evil posting place. Thank you for the invitation.

Everyone is invited and you can come as you are, but they will talk about you and snicker behind your back. You have to be on the in crowd or they really don't want you. I fell asleep during the preaching and so did some other people as well. We are a young family, and we the parents had no Sunday school. As a family we really wanted a family friendly church. There was no where for our children to go on Wednesdays, when we were in worship. I do believe the kids meet earlier. We looked around and settled some where else. Just look for the church that matches your family.

And don't let a few ignorant people stop you from enjoying God's presence. I understand it hurts when some do it. But me as a christian has been through that and I don't and am not gonna let these people run me out of God's church just because they have issues so I go and talk to my fellow christians who would accept me and then they eventually go about their business. But you are right look for one that you feel welcome in, look for one that makes you come back for more. IF you haven't tried Ely come and enjoy it if you don't feel welcome I will kick the people in the butt for you lol. But I will welcome you. And if you just want to talk on here I'm willing to listen to you. k. Ely lets you be involved with your kids. I go in with them . They be glad to have parents help. You have to participate to not be an outcast I know it shouldn't be like that but I have been to all. But if you want to go to an penecostal. Faith Christian has some nice people too. I've been to all. Third Street has a real nice preacher just didn't have activites for kids yet but they are trying. Ely takes their kids to places like missions and branson and etc.
People are lost in this world and do take the wrong path in life, but I do believe down in each person is someone beautiful they just haven'e come out of that bad shell they are in. It is up to them to turn their life around all I can do is just tell them about Jesus, they won't be condemn what they don't know. that's what the bible says. Some people blame God for their problems which they don't realize its not god that is tempting them. They had choices and they picked. But God is a forgiver just talk to him like you would your own father, have a relationship with him no matter if you are in church or not, you can talk to him in your car or wherever you want. And you will see the brightness that comes in your life. Remember we are to be content what we have in front of us before God will answer your prayers so ask differently start by saying God thank you for everything and you know what I need just lead me to it if its not the way I want it show me the way it should be. And I'll learn to accept it. Amen. I've been through alot. I have all kinds of friends and just because I'm a christian I do not look down on my friends who aren't I want to lift them up and let them choose all I can do is teach and speak what I know and maybe they'll see the love I have in me. Amen to that.

ok...i read, re-read, and read again your post...i found some things wrong...church folk are gonna gossip and talk...why? because we spill our entire life into their laps...a past that has been forgiven we retell it over and over to other christians...God has forgiven the past and has forgotten it...we are new creatures with a new life...there is no past...so, let's not tell the church folk our past and they won't have reason to talk...you called a few people ignorant and the word of God commands us to bridle our tongues and to use our tongues to edify one another...you will kick the people in the butt, huh...? not a very good witness to Jesus Christ...they won't be condemned for what they don't know but we will be held responsible for not telling them what will happen to them if they reject the gift of salvation...so you teach and speak are you doing yourself what the word says as you are telling others and if you are a woman you are commanded not to take your authority over the man or to teach a man...i love the Lord and i spend time at the feet of Jesus...God bless you as you grow in Christ...

Wife and I were married in the Ely Baptist Church just a little over 49 years ago. If we are still about and able, we will be coming back to retake our vowels there on our 50th wedding anniversary.

Okay guest. I didn't call people names and I didn't do anything wrong. Ignorant I was just saying don't listen to the ones who are stopping you from enjoying the Lord. I get my words from my bible and what the spirit is telling me to speak, it says the holy spirit will lead you.I'm walking with Love his walk. So God didn't get mad at me for talking like that I'm only human since I have a relationship with him I can talk the way my heart tells me to and I'm forgiven if I say the wrong thing. I'm only learning and I'm a sinner I'll never be perfect. YOu hear that people- I will never be perfect. He led me to this site I guess to help people on here to turn away from the filthy on here I'm not to judge you I'm just to speak my mind and hope the Christ gets in your heart by love. And Travis you been married 49 years wow, how do you do it, I've been married almosts 14 and we are just now getting over the fighting thanks to the lords good work. We almost split up. Why we fight over money and kids I have no clue I'm just learning on that one. I'm trying to be content with things. As long as I have God's love I'll make it I know. Well congrats are being together that long. I told my daughter and she likes WOW- its inspiring to know some do last. I try to tell her make sure he's her best friend too when she looks for one :)

i changed my pen name because there were too many "guest" names on the forum...that's alright...the bible says that iron sharpeneth iron and as a mature christian to a babe christian...i wasn't trying to be mean...it's just that there are alot of pretend christians who are destroying the name of Jesus Christ...i believe you are a sincere christian that's why i told you "God bless you as you grow in Christ"...you have to be careful in your walk and talk because the unsaved are watching you like a hawk...
