During the first Gulf War soldiers, airmen, sailors where given a Gulf War Liberation medal made of real Arabia gold and silver. This medal was given to them by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by King Fahd. This medal as of today’s date in “2011” is worth at a minimum around ten thousand dollars ($10,000 U.S.) for the gold, silver and historical value of the medal. It is estimated that the value of this medal will increase drastically up to more than fifty thousand dollars over the next several years. These medals are the ultimate find for any collector in the United States or abroad. To own one of these medals intact with the original green box and ribbon is a true prize to anyone. The original medal is considered one of the most valued military medals of its kind and a true collector’s item to say the least.

I traded my Gulf war award for a speed boat that was worth around $3500. I don’t know if the guy still has it or not. My suggestion is to keep it because it’s something you can’t replace, if you decide you want it back.

Where did you get the information on the amount of this medal? I have one and would like to know just how much it is really worth.

Gold is about $1400 an Ounce 2011
Silver is about $50.00 an Ounce 2011
Weigh the medal then calculate the gold and silver worth.

Historical value: On the average, since this is real Arabia gold and silver, and has such a unique history of War the value is about $300 to $500 dollars for each year since the war ended. The war has been over for 20 years, so the historical value would be anywhere around $6,000 to $10, 000, then add on how much the gold and silver is worth.

Make sure you weigh your medal with an analytical scale and it is accurate. You don’t want those leprechauns cheating you out of your gold do you?

You need to look on the internet for a military medal dealer or coin dealer then call one of them up. I would contact several of them to get an appraisal. I would also weigh the gold and silver to find out the true gold and silver worth as well. The medals on eBay that sale for $15 to $50 dollars are duplicates, or miniature duplicates. The original (Saudi Arabia) medal is made of real gold and silver.

Please take an English class and learn some basic sentence structure and spelling, that's if you want someone to take you seriously. That's Medal not metal, I hope that helps you in some way.

Give the name, location, type of test done and phone number of the place you had it tested so I can check to see if it is a legitimate business. Was it an acid test that was done? Sounds like someone must have swapped your good medal for a fake one, it happens.

I too would like to know the truth. I was there with 3/502 INF REG. 101 AIR BORNE DIVISION. I was recently informed that the Liberation of Kuwait medal was worth at least $5.000. The person who told me was interviewing me for a job with GE. He told me he wouldn't sell his, but I thought since I was unemployed that I might consider it.
The one I have is still in the original green box with the ribbon and it has Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on it.
Do I really have something here or is this all a bunch of bologna?

I have one as well, I have a a gold crown with two diamonds and two red rubies. This crown is pinned on the ribbon. I haven't heard anyone else mentioning this crown on their liberation medal.

Well, not sure if this is any more information, but it sure isn't any less. Took mine in today to a rare coin/gold dealer to have it looked at. They didn't give me a value on it but the guy said that he thought the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia representation on the silver globe in the middle was probably Gold, but the Silver part was probably chrome and could be plated in Silver. The other part that looks good he thought was probably gold plated. I am not sure as he didn't do a thorough test but that is what he thought.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
