Ward has no authority to fire her. He can suspend her, but the board has to doing the actual firing.

You seriously want 2 get into Semantics over the way the firing process at the school system is handled? You are missing the point of this whole thread which is a TEACHER BULlYING her students !! Jeez!!

I have it on very good authority that she was trying to get her class to be quiet & she made the following comment to 2 students who are over weight " I bet if put some cookies in front of you I can get you two to shut up." Other students were witnesses to her awful comment & the rest is history.

Kim was my sons teacher a few years back and we both thought pretty highly of her as a teacher and a person. But then again he never gave her a reason to correct how. He was a good student according to all his teachers and very helpful. He also knew education is what he was there for not a social gathering. I can kinda guess what your kids problem was from your latitude and grammer. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

From my "latitude and grammer" ??? Really!! Oh that's rich B/C what I think what you really meant to say was " attitude & grammar" ... Nice try Kim or Mike pathetically attempting to defend your actions .... Your give away was when you said the" apple doesn't fall far from the tree" indicating that you still don't think you did anything wrong with your hurtful comments to those students. You & your husband are pathetic! Yes children are at school to earn an education but whether you like it or not, you control freak, socialization is a very important part of school as well as it helps children hopefully learn to interact in a dignified manner ESP when they b/c adults which is something you two obviously never got a grasp on. I dont care if those kids were dancing on your desk, that is NOT how you control your classroom. You want to harass or bully me...BRING IT.. I'm closer to your ages, have my Master's Degree & can go tete-a-tete with you all day long but I'm not going to b/c you are not worth my time or effort. What saddens me the most is that you have obviously learned nothing from this & some desperate school will hire you & you'll continue this same behavior.May God have Mercy on your soul.

If she was actually bullying students, good. She shouldn't be around kids and she certainly shouldn't have an authority role.

Bullying is harmful regardless of how severe it is. If she was bullying, she set an example of that it's okay to bully people. Bullying kills and is never okay.

Well I am definitely not Mike, Kim or anyone else with an invested interest in this. I am definitely not going to let your emotional outbursts become infectious. This seems to be laying down a pattern for your instability and a basis for why your kids may have been "dancing on the desks". Kids learn by example and it isn't hard to figure what breed of heatherns you have raised. I can see it would be real easy for you to test anyone's patience. Sounds like your kids are the product of your raising and will probably one day be caged if they don't euthanize themselves first.

Yes it is & I really don't want this thread to b/c about her or for her to be disrespected in form or fashion and no matter how sorry I am for their tragic loss, they've always been douche bags. I've known The Dyes for years....went to HS with them & they have always acted this way. Those two were meant for each other. One is just as bad as the other .

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
