Does any one remember the name of the book that was based on the Garrison murder? It was a fictional account of the story.

There were two. One is "The Sin". The other one was written by Leanne's brother, Charles Wilson.

I think Charles wrote "The Sin." May be wrong but it was a very bad read and totally fictional as to the facts of his sister's murder. Her children as well as the Mitchell children read this forum..........be nice!

Alibis were not so solid as was thought. One person said to have been on the Docs houseboat was said to NOT have been there that night by a young lady who stated she was on that houseboat that night. That someones Police record was not clean, certainly not clean enough to ordinarily accept as a friend of a Physician. We know we can't pick our relatives, but this was no relative.

I'm not sure. You may try ebay, but I will check in the next few days and see if I still have a copy. I was in my late 20's then and was very affected by this tragic event. The Wilson family was so nice and those poor kids. The Jury had to be from another planet or the prosecutors severely failed this beautiful loving young Mom. Found in her freezer was a beautiful cake she had baked for one of the kids birthdays. So sad it will affect me the rest of my life.

Thanks, I will also check ebay. I found a copy online for about $80 seems a little high to me.

I've got no problem with them reopening the case, but use private funding for it. I would rather see the money put to use tracking down and solving other, more recent murders that have never had a prosecution. I am not trying to bash anyone here nor saying that the Garrison murder isn't worth reinvestigating. Just the prosecution has already tried one and failed. Move on to the next unsolved case. make the rotation, if it comes back around, then reexamine it.
tried one and didnt get it i say if it were your daughter , cousin, mother, aunt, friend, etc wouldnt YOU want to have closure think about it and then open up each case and go from there after all they have the right to have closure also but GOD KNOWS WHO DONE IT AND WILL BE JUDGED .

A veiled (or not so veiled) threat? Divine justice DOES have its way of intervening when people have failed to live up to their moral and ethical responsibilities. Justice fears no man. The Lord is my Shepherd, y'all.

If you are going to have a poll, at least make it fair.
And how fair is it for a murderer to go free? And children to grow up without their Mom and a normal family life? You want to talk about fair?
