I'm in search of a good pain management doctor in the Marietta, GA area. I have both herneated and bulging disks from an accident a while back and no insurance or money to waste my time searching through doc after doc that aren't going to help me. Don't bother with your 'you're an addict and need help' speals, I just need a doctor that will give me the meds I need. Any information anyone can give to help would be greatly greatly appreciated. Can respond here, PM, or email directly (prefered) at deadpirate90@yahoo.com

Don't bring any of your pain treatment scripts to my pharmacy because you will just be wasting your time.

Don't bring any of your pain treatment scripts to my pharmacy because you will just be wasting your time. Guess you didn't read the part about me not needing your 'addict' speal, not saying I don't want treatment, I very much do, but I don't need a doc that's going to give me the run around and not TREAT my pain with what's necessary to make my life livable without that pain. It's called pain management because it's meant to help one manage pain they have to deal with every day of their lives and not leave them suffering, as you obviously desire to do. I've never been to pain management before, but have heard bad things about doctors, with views much like your own, that deem anyone in pain as a drug addict and refuse to treat that pain as needed. I have, however, tried various 'treatments' that not only didn't work, but actually worsened my situation. And at this point my day to day life has become impossible to live around that pain and I've reached the point where a solution is necessary to continue to work and support my family. So please 'swoog' take your judgement on what you know nothing about, elsewhere and quit acting like you're better than anyone else just because you haven't yet suffered from a life changing accident that alters your ability to live a normal life without help. Control is something many 'addicts' lack absolutely, but not all persons in pain are addicts and many of us DO have control and surely don't accomplish as much as we do, regardless of that pain, by being ass holes. Thanks.

I'm simply warning you that even if you are a legitimate patient, you will be hard pressed to find a pharmacy willing to risk filling your scripts because the GDNA is coming down hard on dr's who over prescribe & pharmacies who dispense them.
And also, I have had bulging discs in my back for years and only use pain meds sparingly. Treating pain with meds is NOT treating the pain-- it's treating a symptom.
Every single narcotic drug (especially if combined with benzo-- drug addict alert!), if taken over a period of time, results in (mental) dependency (aka- "I CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT MY PILLS, and I always need early refills!") and tolerance (you will need more, and more, and more to get you through a day.)
In other words, you're looking for drugs because that's what you want, and what you think you need. I could name several sketchy pain clinics to refer you to, all of which no pharmacies will fill anything that comes out of their office. Nothing like the look on an addicts face when I tell them we refuse to fill Rx's from their doctor, and they've been to 30 pharmacies that said the same thing. They just wasted their money going to a dr for scripts that are never going to get filled.

dr. Walker in hartwell georgia is a prescription happy facility. Also pediatricians. Lol. Its a one stop shop. I do not need nor use any prescription drubs but know a woman that goes there for all this bogus stuff that she complains about just to turn around and sale her scripts. Give them a call they love new customers and love telling little boys that have asthma that they are going to die. Have fun. If that doesnt work hell go to a street doctor. Lol. That saves u the time completely of dr shopping. But i dont believe u r a drug addict u speak with common sense that most drug users lose after a couple of months. Best of luck to you. Oh and swoog..before u make a judgement to someone, your disk may not be nowhere as bad. Diff person diff pain levels. Wal mart will fill anything no questions asked.

Awesome thanks noone, I'll def give them a call and check it out. I've been dealing with some financial hardships for awhile now that have forced me to put my clinic hunt on hold for a bit, but as I'm slowly working my way out of this hole I'm in, it should hopefully soon be time to refire up that search again.here soon

Stop stereotyping people, & just because a " study " says that your statements are true doesn't mean they're true for everyone ! My pain & injuries list are simply too Long that I care to type, but I've done pain managent several years. I currently am pain med. free & have never said or thought that I just couldn't go w/ out my opioid Meds. Don't treat someone in pain like they're a drug seeker, you may just add to one's following through of suicide ! I bet they don't lecture you on that nor gave any studies on the suicde rates due to a pharmacist or physician not HELPING those who need it ! Keep in mind that you are still working a medical profession, which is to help & serve those in need not drive them to their death !!!

Agreed, pain has taken away the real me ! And breaks my heart to hear my boy say " Mommy when will the Dr. fix you so you can play w/ me again ? " and have to tell him they're not because the first surgeon failed @ his job & that no other will fix it ! I was 28 when I became disabled & yes that's legally, but am treated worse or less by a physician now !

We have been made aware that Doctor Harding will no longer be able to see and or treat chronic pain patients. Dr. Krasienko has decided to waive the 50 dollar new patient fee for all of Dr. Harding's patients who are now looking for quality care for their chronic pain issues. Instead of paying 300.00, all of Dr. Harding's patients will be charged the 250.00 rate that is given to all of our current patients. This is an effort by Dr. Krasienko to make sure that quality car is available to all those who suffer from Chronic Pain issues. Dr. Beata Krasienko is Both a well respected Anesthesiologist, as well as a Fellow in Pain Management. What does this mean? It means that when you come in to Aries Health for your Chronic Pain issues, you are being seen and treated by a professional who is actually trained in the field of pain management. Believe me people, there is a difference. There are quite a few doctors in Valdosta, Georgia who simply are not trained in Pain Management. They are in it because it pays well. That is all well and good for them, but it is not so good for you if you want proper care.
Aries Health and Dr. Krasienko are located in Valdosta, Georgia. We are currently acceptin g a limited number of new patients. All new patients must have a valid Georgia ID. Our office is clean, and out staff is well trained, courteous, and trained to make yor visit as pleasant and professional as possible.
If you are tired of being treated like a 2nd class citizen because you have chronic pain issues, give Aries as call today. See why over 40 patients have left their old clinics and come to us.
