I was the unfortunate victim of robbery. Wednesday afternoon I was scammed by two spineless monsters. One black woman came up to me in the baking aisle (9) and distracted me asking questions about brownies. Another woman came along and reached right into my pocket book and took out my wallet. I did not discover this until I went to check out and my wallet was gone. The whole thing was caught on camera. This low life dirt-bag raced to the woodbridge mall and charged $600 on my visa debit card. I have ofcourse cancelled all my credit cards and closed out my checking account. This piece of trash has cost me not only money, but the time it will take to get a new drivers license. Not to mention the sleepless nights I have had. I will not be shopping in Linden shoprite ever again. Please ladies watch your purses. Beware of two black women one very heavy set with a lazy eye, the other one pregnant (shame!) with her hair up on top of her head. The police have the video in their possession I can only hope they do their job and rid the street of these parasitic bottom feeders!!

First of all, my sympathy goes out to you, both for the unpleasant experience and for the loss of money and inconvenience regarding your driver's licence.
A similar thing happened to me albeit a few years ago, I placed my purse (pocketbook) on a counter in a decorating shop to leave me hands free to view wallpaper which the assistant was unrolling to give me a broad spectrum of the pattern. Came to purchase, purse gone. The shop was empty but had aisles and CCTV shown two thieves had crept in, removed purse, crept out. Also they had accomplices in another area of town dressed identically, as their alibi.
Lesson learnt, don't let guard down when in a public area,
I blamed myself totally for putting temptation in anybody's way, and would certainly not change my shopping venue for anybody, I would not give the thieves the satisfaction.
Your experience though could be a warning to others who might get stung by this pair, so good for you for posting.

I sympathize with you Erin. The same thing happened to my elderly Mom and by your description it sounds like the same two creeps.

They stole her wallet the same way by distracting her and reaching into her pocketbook stealing her wallet.

Don't blame the Linden Shoprite because they must be working all the local food stores. My Mom was robbed at the Springfield Shop-Rite so it can happen anywhere and any store.

Even though it won't help you or my Mom's plight I have no doubt their luck will run out and they'll be caught.

Omg!!! I just read Erins Post... on this very day
in the Linden Shoprite I was a seafood employee and was attacked by the same women you speak of.
The fatter one rammed her shopping cart into my stomach 3 times and tried to get me fired! I did quit because of the incident, ironically enough it wasnt caught on tape..... the only thing I regret now is... i wished i would have called the police myself. Something my employer should have done for me.... because they both gave fake names and probably did so because they probably had warrants .....instead my employer sent me home! I wish I would have kicked her fat *** it would have been soooooooo worth it!

I am sorry for all of you who have been victimized. It is unfortunate in this day and age but we must constantly guard ourselves. For this reason ladies, simple precaution... do not carry your purse into a store. get yourself a small container..plastic sleeve, and keep your license, cards etc in that. Put that in your bossom or into a smaller clutch or pouch that you can fasten to your wrist, put in the inner pocket ..preferrably the breast pocket..Zip it or button it. You do not need all of the stuff you have in your purse when you are in the store. And make sure you store your purse out of sight inside your vehicle.

Sorry to hear all that. That's a mark of present times which we have to live in. I just wanna warn of another trash bag near shoprite in Linden- a tall, unfortunately again, black guys wearing neath clothes on that do not draw any suspiciousness. The guys stood sometimes by the shopping carts asking for the cart one just used. Even though 25 is not a lot, yet think of at least 10 customers like that in one hour = can of beer, times three guys and times 3 hours? u do the math...

I have heard it is a very good school. Lots of activities always going on. Seems to have a large Parent teacher focus.
