The Democrat/media frenzy over the comments by Republican US Senate candidate Todd Akin of Missouri over rape is typical of how the left operates. They want to intimidate him out of the race, not run against him in a fair election.

Meanwhile one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Democrat convention is going to be former president Bill Clinton who actually was accused of rape by a woman named Juanita Broaddrick but who was exonerated in the media because the statute of limitations had passed.

We can be sure that Clinton has harassed, assaulted, groped and threatened many women in his abusive sex-drenched crusade, many more than we will ever know. Yet Clinton is feted by the same media and Democrats that are demonizing Akin over a misspoken comment. How shameful.

And don’t forget that Democrat US senator Ted Kennedy allowed Mary Jo Kopechne to drown in 1969 and then tried to cover it up in the most shameless way. This is absolutely the most abhorrent act every by a US senator.

Was Kennedy ever held to account? Was there a media firestorm about the fact that Kennedy continued on for 40 more years in the US Senate after that incident?

Of course not. Because these Democrats are so duplicitous and have such an alarming double standard.

Gauthier said that he met the boy after posting an ad on Craigslist and that the boy claimed he was 18 years old. The teen admitted to police he had lied about his age.
Democratic leaders had been pressuring Gauthier to withdraw, as did Republicans. One GOP House member called him "a child molester."
Earlier today, after vowing to stay in the race, he told News Center:
"I am a better person than this incident portrayed me … and I will demonstrate this in my future behavior. I can change my behavior, but I cannot change the fact that I am a gay man, and have known this since my college days. I simply must act like a mature gay man would act, and not as the incident portrays me."
He also said he was getting counseling and "will not get involved in this type of unacceptable relationship again," the station writes.

Holder Justice Department Recruits Dwarfs, Schizophrenics, and the ‘Intellectually Disabled’

The PJ Tatler has obtained documents from the Justice Department detailing efforts to recruit attorneys and staff who are dwarfs or who have “psychiatric disabilities” or “severe intellectual disabilities.” On May 31, 2012, Assistant Attorney General Tom Perez issued a directive to affirmatively recruit people with these “targeted disabilities.”

This DOJ policy does not merely involve prohibitions against discrimination, but rather the documents reveal deliberate recruitment efforts to hire as attorneys and staff for the Department of Justice people suffering from psychiatric disorders and intellectual disabilities. Moreover, applicants can “self-identify” their disability by means of the “Standard Form 256, Self Identification Disability.”

Those with “targeted disabilities” may be hired through a “non-competitive” appointment. That means they don’t have to endure the regular civil service competition among applicants, but can be plucked from the stack of resumes and hired immediately instead.

According to the documents, those with these “targeted disabilities” may be hired “before the position is advertised” and even “before the position’s closing date.” Moreover, lawyers with psychiatric disabilities and “severe intellectual” disabilities receive a waiver from the requirement that a new DOJ employee have practiced law for one year before being hired.
