Quarry draws raucous crowd

If I thought (the quarry) was going to hurt anyone, be anything other than good for this community, I wouldn't be here More than 120 people attended a nearly three-hour long informational meeting at the Kellyton Community Clubhouse Tuesday to discuss the granite quarry scheduled to break ground near the city within two years. via Alexander City Outlook

i think it would be a good thing if quarry came to kellyton, i't a dead place anyway, there's nothing here really exciting going on, SO I SAY, THE BEST OF LUCK TO YA QUARRY, HOPE YOU MAKE IT!!!!!!!

The quarry is going to become a reality .This bunch of backwoods hicks are against anything progressive.Most of them were educated in the Coosa County school system,which means they are basically uneducated.Get real people,you need the jobs the quarry will bring into the area.
