Ms. Kelliher will be a great representative of the progressive arm of the DFL if she is nominated.

She will stand up to King Timmy's tax cheating friends. She will bowl over businesses that take advantage of the poor by charging higher prices than the people can afford. And she will stand with all of the downtrodden to insure their constitutional rights are not violated by those wing nuts in the Republi-thug party.

Ladies and Gentlemen: I present your next great Governor from the State of Minnesota, Ms. Maggie Kelliher!

Ms Kelliher if elected will continue the liberal agenda of socialism and will try and kill off capitalism as best as she can. This would be one of the worst candiates ever to be elected and i'm certain most rational people will see through her leftist agendas.

I am disappointed that Her and Larry decided to have her run versus Larry. Interesting she waited until after T-Paw decided not to run to launch her run for Gov. She isn't even the best DFLer for the job!!

1. Companies that sell a product, sell it to a distributor. Distributors sell to stores. Stores then sell to the customer.
In each step, there is some mark-up.
It's called capitalism.
If I buy product "a" from a distributor to sell n my store, I certainly am not going to sell it for less than I paid. In fact, I need to mark it up enough to cover the cost of me ordering it, receiving it, stocking it, and selling it.
Governments that tell companies what the can sell their products for are called socialist.
If the people can't afford what I'm selling, it's not my fault.

2. So, she'll only protect the rights of the downtrodden? If I make a good living, it's OK to violate my rights, because I can afford it?
I think I'd prefer a governor that protects EVERYONE'S rights. Not just the downtrodden.

I pointed out these two issues to demonstrate a point.
You, and others like you, focus too much on a single factor when you decide who you want running the government.
Open your eyes a bit, and take in the whole world once.
It sure is noble to want to help the lesser fortunate, but if you help them, and ignore every other problem, what does that get us?
It solves one issue, and creates about a million more.

Single issue politicians are the ones who fail.

I don't know about dfl4life, but I do take issue with your comment.

I simply am a citizen who is using his/her constitutional right to espouse my opinions on subjects that interest me.

There are times when I am very much in the minority here. There are other times that I am in the majority. It really does not matter what team has greater numbers, it matters that a venue for civil discourse is in place here.

Calling me a troll is a bit inaccurate. I would think that the person who deserves that label would be one who follows my comments and spews nothing more intelligent than calling me names.

Have a nice day there, eh?

I find it amusing that people from out of state think their opinions about Minnesota politics matter at all. As for Large Marge, she is more of a cause of problems in Minnesota than a solution to those problems.

Another thing the tax and spend folks forget or hope the voter doesn't realize is that any tax added to the cost anywhere along that path of capitalism will raise the cost to the untimate consumer. As for Kelliher, I believe she thinks the public is too stupid to realize it but the liberals are learning that the public is waking up.

Margaret, I'm not a Republican and I won't be voting for you. My opinion is that you were one of the main stumbling blocks to getting a deal done with the Governor. He's not perfect, but you're very confrontational and worried about your Twin Cities TV facetime more than anything else. You fit into the unfortunate category which plagues politics now of, "I'm always right, and you're always wrong." And Margaret, you're bitter than the Governor saw your plan coming at the legislature and outmanuevered you.

Offering the sort of personal insult that a 3rd grader might use suggests an adult who has no integrity or character.

As all who have had the privilege of working with her know so well, Margaret Anderson Kelliher is exactly the sort of person that most Minnesotans will feel very comfortable with as our governor.

Her politics reflect a thoughtful and compassionate view of how government should work to protect citizens and promote the common good. One may certainly disagree with her views on issues but she is a person who cares deeply about Minnesota and looks for solutions, not slogans.

If you take the time to learn more about what she has to offer Minnesota as our governor, I believe you will find someone who has earned our respect - not childish taunts.

Sorry but her antics in the legislature disprove your comments as she is a tax and spender.
