I went browsing there Saturday morning after leaving Cash America Pawn. I looked at the same exact used gun at both places a Jimenez Arms .45 gun...$189 at Top Dollar and $169 at Cash America.... Brand new Ryobi Band Saw in box at Cash America $90....Top Dollar had a used Ryobi same model for $139.99 and the cord was frayed. Look at the blowers and weed whackers and you will see high high prices!!! WalMart is a better deal than Top Dollar!! They mostly cater to the blacks/whites/rapper wanna-be's because of their huge selection of over priced no name JUNK STEREO EQUIPMENT!!!

HAHA... I know. I saw a beat up 42inch used vizio tv in there for $599. Its only 580 brand new at walmart! I guess the name top dollar comes from their prices! And don't even think about bringing up the fact theire prices are so high. Everyone that works there has some kind of attitude.

I looked at some of their guitars and maplifiers and some of the old guitars were priced higher than new ones and their old junky looking amps should be free from the looks of them but are way way overpriced, but thats what they like to get is TOP DOLLAR.

u aint lying! A pawn shop is supposed to be a place for bargains. the only bargains there is what they are getting when they buy something from you. they offered me $100 for an almost new in box springfield .45 that I wanted to TRADE towards an AR. When I bawked at the offer the guy just shrugged his shoulders and said if you think you can get a better offer go somewhere else!
Do yourself a favor and pass the place up.

All of you are right on about this place, rip you off when you pawn or sell them some thing, outragous prices, attitude of the employees... Do yourself a favor cross the street or buy new at wally world.

main deez peoples speakaz ghetto as hell. I went in to sell my gold toofs but insted had up and bought some 96 inch rimz. eerythang be 2 espensuve up in here!

Most of them used to walk around with guns strapped to their waists. Jewelry seems to be priced ok, but all that crap stereo equipment is no good and they wont warranty it or the stereos unless you show proof that a licensed facility has installed it. Plus, the bossier vice is in there at least once a week searching for stolen stuff (friend works there and told me they come in to confiscate stolen stuff on a weekly basis)

Man i tell u what them some crazy fools up in there wantin all kinda moneys fuh a buncha stuff i could just get outa someones carport or a quick visit while they out to the grocery store
