I've lived here most of my life and can't understand this town. I think most of the people here would rather spit at you, talk behind your back, steal from you and I could go on and on. When did life here in Keeseville become so negative. You have people who volunteer for local Fire Departments and other non for profit organizations and all you hear is negativity. I give them my thanks it's hard in these days to work, have a family and still be there for your community. And then they have to listen to all this negativity from people who are to lazy to do anything themselves but sit behind a computer and talk bad about them. I have always lived by if you got nothing to say that is positive then don't say it. And if you don't know the truth don't spread a lie. I know it would mean anything to the people of Keeseville but just wanted to put out there that there is one person in this town who would like to see a change but it takes us to do that.
Start spreading positive feelings it works a lot better. Hate only takes life away from you!!! |

I do not understand. You state Keeseville sucks. Yet, you speak some good in your post. There is good in any community. Volunteer organizations, fire departments and rescue squads, citizens who help their neighbors. Sports programs and coaches and the list goes on. We thank them. I believe it is the world in which we live today. The economy and many other factors that make many of us negative. Have been a member of this community about 25 years with lifelong relatives who have made a life here. Ask many people the way Keeseville use to be and compare it to the way it is today. Yes, times have changed and people change. There is more crime, more drug. Maybe less volunteers. The price of gas goes up. Business's come and go. People struggle everyday to make ends meat. As the Politician post says "Who will listen?" With topix people do listen. Some respond in a positive manner while others negative. It is a way for people to voice their opinions, concerns and feelings. It's our freedom of speech. We are all on this earth in the same boat. Let's make the best of it. If not in Keeseville, then perhaps elsewhere. By the way, if there were any other place USA one could live how many would choose Keeseville as it is today? |
