Oshkosh street fight was gang related

I was born & raised in Oshkosh & moved to North Carolina at the age of 20...I lived there for 5 yrs or so...when I went back to Oshkosh, everything has changed...the criminals from milwaukee & chicago have moved in & have been ever since...the crime rate went up and the gangs became a big thing...most of these being african americans...I'm far from racist...I have 7 beautiful neices & nephews of color. I just wish that the gang bangers of any race would just stop & think...aside of that...their giving the rest of the citizens a bad name. This world has gone to hell...once these crimals are well enough known in their home towns & things get to hot for them, they seem to move to another city where their not known & end up in the same situation. People...where are your morals & values. I grew up in what people would now call the hood or ghetto...in other words we we're very poor. It truely is disturbing to see that they rarely seem to learn...living the life of drugs & other criminal activities gets you nothing in life. All that gold, fancy clothes, shoes, cars...you'll never keep them long enough to appreciate them. get your heads together & lets do something possitive...lifes short & theres so much more to live for than that...where is god in your life!

You can bet there are enough citizens that have the intelligence unlike yourselves...just waiting to call you on every dumb move you make...

As I read these posts they all reflected somewhat the same theme.
Some of the posts said these so called gangs need to grow up, get out of town,get a life or the posts most amuzing are the ones here by persons trying to act as though they are a gang member.
Is this what this is about or are ya'll try'in to figure out what is really happening in Oshkosh and the Fox Valley concerning gang activity.
I have several friends that are prison guards at our Oshkosh Correctional Facility and several that are guards for the Appleton and Oshkosh jail system.
Let it be very clear that there are some very serious gang activity here in this area.
Some are currently serving time at our cost at the prison and jails.
Some live in this area, mostly to deal drugs as this a fairly open market area to do so.
As I understand, some of the gangs come to our area just briefly to do they bussiness and go back to Milwaukee, Chicago and other areas.
Most people will not see real serious, gang activity around here. What you will see though is young "punks", white and black kids and young adults, wiggers and wannabe's.
Where is the real problem with these wanna be gangsta's, the problem starts at they homes,they parents. Thats were the problem started, and thats were it needs to be addresed.
It's said,"Kids will be kids", but "Parents need to be parents"!
The true serious gang members that cause real problems need to be dealth with by the law.
Parents need to watch and teach they children whats truely needed as they grow.
We'd have fewer problems with children and young wannabe gangsters if it were'nt tolerated first in they home.
If I had a kid who thought they were all that and did'nt respect me our our home I'd punch them in they neck and kick them out of "MY" home.

I think we should call them Crappleton GAYngsters. We had an Asian GAYngster with his hat kicked and his girlfriend driving next to my girfriend and myself. We were just going to pass and then they spead up and flicked us off and slammed on their brakes. So once we got to the lights I was furious. I got out and threw my hands up in the air and asked him what his problem was. He pulled out a knife and I told him "come on punk stab me."
